Hello beautiful people,
I wrote this story last night and I wish a scene like this is shown in the series…
It is written in line with the present track so a bit sensitive and emotional. I hope it is not over the top or totally without feelings.
Hope you like it!!

A little bit of hope
It was an exhausting day, both physically and mentally. The whole family was worried, anxious and filled with fear for Dhara, Gautam and their unborn baby. They had a quite dinner and everyone retired to their rooms without saying much.
Shiva was having a tough time understanding everything. He was just standing by the window, staring at nothing in particular and trying to make sense of what the doctor said today.
He could feel her presence near him without looking. The moment he heard her say “Shiva” a small smile made its way on his lips, a smile that was eluding him since morning.
She came with a glass of turmeric milk for him. She wanted to be there for him and more than that, she wanted him to be there for her.
“Everything will be all right.” Raavi said.
Shiva did not utter a single word. He was struggling to form words which would give them comfort right now.
Seeing him like this was making Raavi emotional and she did not want to make him uncomfortable, hence she decided to leave him in the aangan.
The moment she turned to leave the room, Shiva held her hand to stop her. He was still not looking at her; he just wanted her presence near him. “Stay.” It was the only word he could utter under the circumstances but was enough for Raavi to be there with him. She knew he needed her.
They stood there for a long time before Raavi asked him to get some sleep.
“Can I sleep with you? In our room? On the bed?” Raavi smiled at his innocence.
“Of course, I won’t let you sleep anywhere else.” She replied.
The moment Raavi closed the door of their room, Shiva hugged her and started crying. Raavi felt relieved because she knew he needed to let it all out. She let him sob for as long as he want. She just hugged him back and was patting his back.
“I am unable to do anything for Gaumbi and Dhara bhabhi. They are so kind, loving and what they are getting is…this.” Shiva said in between his tears.
Raavi made Shiva sit on the bed and gave him a glass of water. She knew that making him normal is going to be difficult. He is Shiva who doesn’t express much but now that he has opened up to her, she did not want him to feel weak.
“What you can do for them is stay positive. Do not lose hope, Shiva. Always believe in the power of miracle; you never know what God has planned for them. Just remember, whatever happens, happens for the best.” Raavi told him.
“Why is it so difficult?” Shiva asked.
“Because it is. Just try to be happy for them. They deserve that from us.” Shiva knew that what Raavi is saying makes sense. He needs to be strong and happy for them.
“Do you honestly believe in miracles?” Shiva quipped Raavi.
“Yes. Absolutely.” Both of them were facing each other on the bed.
“Why? God has not been kind to you either. The guy you loved…” before Shiva could complete, Raavi interrupted him.
“I have no complaints. Whatever has happened in my life, it has given me you. And you Shiva, is the biggest miracle of my life.” Raavi held his hand and waited for him to say something but he did not.
After a minute, shiva placed a kiss on her forehead and said “and you are mine.”
They both smiled looking at each other as they knew that more than anything, it is the power of faith that has brought them together. Whatever life throws at them, they will deal with it together.

Thank you for reading 🙂
PS. Personally, I feel crying doesn’t make you weak…it is also another way of facing the challenges.
Also, I hope the last part was not cheesy as I am not good at writing romance.
