This is the main reason sherlyn got married to Rishabh so he wont marry preeta. The whole concept was on Panchaiti Business man.

So yes they do need Rishabh other wise whats the point of these 4 years.

Prithvi called Rishab his enemy is today episode (that his gf married his enemy for his revenge).

The moments you pointed out it even I noticed them while watching those parts the third time. Do notice these parts also -

1. In the begining he literally helplessly asked her why she needed another man when he was there. He literally gave her everything , he took care of her , loved her & used to be up late at nights when she used to be asleep during pregnancy to take care of her. The pain & hurt in his eyes that he wasn't enough for her.

2. When Sherlyn was confessing in bedroom for first time that she doesn't have even a bit of feelings for him. She has faked it since 2 years she hates him. These words literally shaked up him that he stepped backward & leaned back on wall to take it's support. He was looking at her eyes continuously in which only hatred was filled.

3. In the corridor when she raised question on him who will ever love a man like him? Tear rolled out of his eyes hearing this and he was literally wiping his face. She went on to say that she has been suffocating ever since she got married to him,that hurt on his face was so evident that time. One could feel it.

4. He was about to raise his hand on her but stopped saying he deliberately stopped as he is man enough. Rishabh knew it would be ethically wrong if he did that because of a man he is. Plus,his love for her was the only thing which kept Sherlyn protected from Rishabh's wrath. Remember in the room when he angrily pressed her jaw and looked into her eyes angrily? The moment she hissed with pain he backed off because of his love.

5. During the Jag suna suna part also all he remembered was seeing Prithlyn together , how his goodness as well as his right man image part & I hate you statements were remembered by him mostly....He remembered what she said to him not what he said. Her words had that affect on him. She defeated him. His heart , mind , soul and his existence was defeated & tamed.

6. While going out today his eyes were filled with anger & pain. Tears were continuously rolling out his eyes infact his nose were also watery he kept wiping them. The anger was that much that he didn't cared that he broke the flower pot which was on stairs.

Today Sherlyn kept repeating that how he didn't even looked in her eyes before going beacuse he didn't had the guts too face her. Silly girl didn't knew that it was due to the disgust he felt for what she did. There was a shot where Rishabh was looking in front and walking angrily and Sherlyn was standing infront of him scared with her eyes down but he walked past her making sure he doesn't touch her. 💔🥺

I hope Karma bites Sherlyn back in the hardest way possible and Prithvi ditches her badly someday and then she would remember Rishabh's word "I am not angry at you,I feel bad for you...You had the chance but now I give up." That day this girl will cry tears of blood but no one will come to wipe his tears. I am quite doubtful whether makers will ever show this but this would be best end for Sherlyn's character.

Earlier they said Prithlyn was married and showed their marriage picture too but recently they showed Prithkyn were never married as Rishabh did something due to which they couldn't get married ever. They've kept saying Prithlyn dated since college days & the couple was famous but in earlier episode makers showed that karan and Sherlyn were in same college so how didn't karan knew about her affair? Then recently Rishabh inquired to Karan that Sonakshi was in their college only naa?🤣🤣

...I was like what nonsense then how didn't Rishabh knew Sherlyn as she was very popular in college?? The only posssible answer would be they all have many degrees as they've gone to many colleges but then all are young🤣....Makers have amnesia they forget things easily.

Then the holi kand happen as rishabh was inclined towards preeta and may cancel the wedding.rishu got married to sherlin to correct his mistake .even karan told him that preeta dont want these marraige to get happen so he decides to backoff as he thought that preeta loves him thats why dont want him to get married .he was wrong there also as preeta never loved rishabh.byt due to family he bowed down infront of them.

Rishu lost his love but preeta never reciprocated it and preeta was already in love with karan at that time .either way his heart would have been broken.

After getting married he never sees preeta like he wanted to have her in his life.he has just one regret that he never said preeta his feelings and just remained a friend.and after that karan got married to preeta .and his regret feelings everything finished.

But these poor soul never got any love .he got broken by sherlin as he comes to know about her affair.she broke his trust.he drink to lessen the pain of his dreams got broken.

Then he again became hopeful after that jail convo of rishlyn.sherlin became more caring towards him .he also became more caring for her.as he got tensed for sherlin after kareena bua broke news of her mothers heartattack.he started developing feelings for her .always haq jataoing on her that you are my wife .

Badly affected by prithvi words that sherlin might leave him and come to him.yes he was scared because he donrlt want to end their relationship.as due to the underlying feelings in his heart for sherlin.and then preetaji who always set everulythung in his life stamped the feelings that he loves sherlin.

People used his goodness against him. They just used this boy. Couldn't respect him or his feelings and most importantly no one reciprocated his feelings back. I loved how makers showed and broke the stereotype in Rishabh's case that love can happen again by showing how Rish fell in love and his journey of falling in love was so basic and real that one can connect themselves with. Nothing like a fairytale or extraordinary just a simple and natural progression.❤️

Yet what he got brutally heartbroken💔. Questions got raised on his core existence - his goodness. His soul was scarred. He left the house as a defeated man but he went on a vayage to find himself again. He must be out there trying to sort his life and get reason to live again. ❤️ He will be hopeful again and will fall in love again who will whole heartedly accept him and give his share of happiness & love😭.
