11 Tips for BB Creatives to save the show's cratering TRPs

1. Please show an entire day in an episode. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS start the episode with the morning song. And end with late night conversations at 2 AM or what have you. Currently viewers are completely disoriented by the show. There is no understanding what is happening when, what day, and the non-linear editing makes things very confusing. STICK TO THE BASICS. This is editing 101 really. Show us an entire day in each episode.

2. Keep episodes to strictly 1 hour. Come on guys. Who is your editor - Ashutosh Gowarikar? Have you forgotten how to edit? Does every episode need to be 80 minutes. The reason your TRP is low because your show is BORING AS HELL. Keep things snappy and keep things moving along.

3. Forget about the MGs and scripted storylinges. Show us organically the most important things in the day. If that means not showing Jay or showing less of Tej-ran, that's fine. Edit it like a news show - it should be the highlights of the most important things in a day with time spent on the most important things. And that can come from anyone, not just your MGs.

4. Stop favoring contestants. Treat everyone equally. Please no boot licking on Shamita anymore.

5. NOMINATIONS. I think actual confession room nominations have happened once in 7 weeks. What's wrong with you? How will strategies any alliances advance if you don't give them an opportunity to advance. You should always have nominations on Monday. Again, that makes the show repeatable and a pattern that audiences can follow.

6. EVICTIONS. Always evict someone on WKV. There should be CONSEQUENCES. There should be real STAKES. People should actually feel scared. People should feel something is on the line. People should feel they need to fight. Even contestants are openly acting like they completely know that evictions are completely fraudulent and rigged by creatives. That is why none of them is bothering to give content. They know its futile.

7. EVICTIONS SHOULD BE FINAL. Do not bring people who go out of the house in any shape or form. The evictions should feel important and consequentual.

8. Next season se discard MG concept. It has destroyed your show. Seriously there can be no real consequences if audience knows the show is rigged. Make it real.

9. Improve the quality of tasks. There are 50 editions of BB franchise worldwide and hundreds of seasons to pick from. Please study them and bring out the best of the best tasks every week to engage both HMs and the audience.

10. Change the host. Salman is really flagging. I think he has given it his all. You need some fresh energy. Some fresh dynamic. Only a fool does the same thing over and over and expects different results. Your TRP is flagging. One the reasons is Salman. Get someone who is fresher, newer, more enthusiastic, a different energy.

11. House Decor - Please change the house. The house is hideous. Extremely gaudy and overdecorated to the point of clutter. Please have a clean external area with sunlight and natural light. Go for modern sleep minimalist interiors. Kinda show India what modern luxury houses look like. They looks sleek and clean - not like a kabadi ki dukaan.

BB13 episodes used to be 90min long, which were fun to watch. Length is not an issue for viewers, but bedroom talks in the beginning puts viewers off. First, it was Meishaan now it's Tejran, in my opinion

Oh length is an issue. It is a time commitment issue.

90 mins per day is a huge commitment. You are asking a lot of viewers to take out 90 mins per day for 4 months.

60 minutes is fine. 60 minutes will be tight and eventful.

90 is just plain boring with padding and useless filler.

Maybe reserve the extended episodes for Voot specials or something.

Members should be nominated on Monday so that they can give content for whole week to get votes.

Pls end this no eviction week. If u notice, Sometimes members are sure that there is no eviction this week on Wkw. (Happened in Akasa's eviction)

They know ki weak contestant h to eviction hoga, strong person h to nahi hoga.

Do something like last season

Rubina, Abhinav, Aly, jasmin all were nominated and jasmin got evicted.

I think i need to surface this post again to knock some sense into any creatives that might be reading these forums.

The season has really turned into a disaster.

And the creatives are 100% to blame.

The Marathi BB host was good and fair. The best part, he was not rude. I hate Salman who shouts, swears and threatens housemates. Like we all know this is so hypocritical, why would anyone take what you are saying seriously?

I think main problem is tasks and predictability (favouring contestants). And tasks are literally task > argument/fight > sad face on WKV

Minimum guarantees. Some contestants have in their contracts that they will be guaranteed x number of weeks in the house regardless of nominations or audience votes. More weeks in the house means more money, so a lot of bigger names get MGs. It also allows them to avoid the humiliation of an early eviction.

But it basically saps the show of any suspense. You know for a fact X contestant won't be evicted. So housemates don't even nominate and audience does not even vote against them. It completely changes the game and basically rigs it from the start.

It's like you are in a tennis tournament and you are playing against Nadal in 2nd room. Neither audience will care about the match or the opponent because he's been guaranteed a semi final spot. Imagine how lifeless that match would be. That's what MG does to Bigg Boss. It ruins the show.
