He realised that atleast 2 days prior to divorce (before Angad's entry) that he feels something more than friendship for Tejo. What I think has happened is, A day before divorce when he went missing, he decided that Tejo needs to be freed from their toxic relation and he needs to continue the charade of getting married to Jasso so that he can reveal Jasmeen's truth to all. I still believe, Jas revealed all the details to Fateh when he ran behind him on Diwali night. Since that day, Fateh has gone pretty quiet. There is this eerily silence within him like the silence before the storm. He is definitely trapping Jasmeen.
