Alright, let me come straight to the point
Abhimanyu Birla needs to do a complete 1 year course on how-to-NOT-make-presumptions after which he will be required to do his major on Communication-Management. The major should take him about 3 years after which he will be expected to do a 1 year long internship at the Akshara-Arohi Group of Industries where he will be exposed to real life challenges such as love triangles. The primary outcome of the internship would be understanding the ethics and integrity of a romantic relationship, understanding the opposition party's approach and finding the correct solution to the problem.
Matlab ho kya raha hai yeh? Why is he only seeing what he wants to see? Being confident is amazing, but he is coming off as out-and-out delusional at this point. Needless to say that i'm highly disappointed in his character after watching today's episode.
Everything was good until yesterday. The whole hospital scene was outstanding. But today, i felt like getting into my screen and shake abhi up from whatever world he is living in. One can make mistake once, but repeating the same thing the second time within a span of 2 days?
What happened at the Goenka's - i don't blame abhi at all. Akshara did pretty explicitly show her feelings, albeit not in words, but she did. He thought of doing up to her family to talk about it and I thought that was a great approach. The misunderstanding that followed was absurd but that had nothing to do with Abhimanyu, Akshara or even Arohi. BUT what he did today just made him look so ignorant and foolish.
He was excited about finally getting to talk to Akshara:

He was day dreaming about akshu I swear the whole dream sequence was one of the cutest dreams I have ever seen. especially the green chilli part made me grin like an idiot.
Him asking for ahirwaad from his mom
He imagined akshu whistling in his room and all those hugs and nuzzles
And then, he just out of the blue changes his route and decides to BRING AKSHU HOME WITHOUT HAVING THEIR SO CALLED PRIVATE-TALK about what happened in the tilak, why she was quiet and what is going on in her mind
Matlab, samajh nahi aya. I just stared at the screen dumbfounded and lost some brain cells in the process.
Banda just appears infront of akshu in his bike and uthake ghar pe le jaata hai and asks her to confess?
If she didn;t say anything at the Tilaak, refused to even take a stand for you, indirectly rejected your love, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT SHE WILL DO IT NOW?? Nahi matlab kyun aapne socha hoga ki yeh bandi aaj apke poore pariwaar k samne kahegi ki "I love you Abhi"? what has changed in these 2 days?
Wasn't the whole purpose of this "mujhe tumse baat karna hai" was that you guys talk this whole thing out, know what's in akshu's mind really and THEN come up with a solution? Why the hurry? Harshvardhan was going nowhere. neither was akshu. nor was the time.
what's this obsession with humiliation from Abhimanyu's side, Mujhe koi batayega please? 😵
I had no issue with the absurd misunderstanding happened at the Tilak whatsoever because it didn't involve portraying the leads to be dumb. But today's episode felt like the first assassination to the ML's character. I'm sorry, but it really was. I couldn't be more disappointed in abhi today.
and the last scene - banda phirse sapno k dunya mein chala gaya🥱 phir se wahi baat "bolo...aaj chup rehne ka din nahi hai"
Honestly, I'm sorry I know you guys really look forward to my positive and fun posts and character analysis but today's episode was a mockery and I don't have it in me to sugar-coat it. I will need time to come out of the second hand embarrassment I felt by Abhimanyu's approach regarding the whole thing. And this again goes to show how highly i thought of his character and how horribly the director put me down.
I'm gonna wait and see how the director redeems the character after the rejection and what is it that they really wanted to show with this fast tracked love story. Because right now, all i'm seeing is NULL.
