my views on the epi--

since my parents have the old dvd--; even though i was rilliii small when the series aired on the BBC...i can tell you this--they didnt show Bharat meetng rishi bharadwaj and neither did they show sita ma telling ramji that she had a bad dream about bharat being upset and when Lakshman hears of her dream he says--huh how can he be unhappy he must be soo happy that he is king..and then ramji admonishes him and he says--u think every1 is as good and sweet natured as you my lord(direct subtitles translation)...then he goes to the forest.. the above scene wasnt there...

however kaikeyi asking for forgiveness from Kaushalya may be a new scene--not so sure--will have to check

1. mannnn; guri is sooo controlled in the role of Ramji--no OTT expressions or actions; i really like the way he is doing it...heck even compared to the older gen actor...the emotions...the anger; the tears; the happiness; everything is in control...(as you can see i am a fan 😆 )

2. as for lakshman--well as i said above since my parents own the old ramayan dvd ---and it aired on the BBC when i was like rillii little early 90s...i can tell u from the DVD that the dialogues were pretty much the same; even though the older Lakshman's rxm was louder and more forthcoming.. ankit was okay; but perhaps i expected more..

3. bharat was okay--however there were some scenes i thought he may have gone ott..but then again--every1 may not agree--and they did add the crying near the grass...

4. i liked debina too; in the minimal dialogues she gets i guess--but like tan says perhaps she is suppossed to speak less...

so yes ekta i agree--good episode..

yes true , all acted superbly , esp ramji my god , really acting to the point, i just love his body movements, the way he turned towards bharat n said " now say y u r here" oh god what a style. He really deserve all praise.
I m upset , y they r running so fast , i read alot abt bharat n ram milap , n they just showed in one episode. arre koi samjhao unko , theres no need to run like this , its not marathon pllllllllzzzzzzzzzz show with more details. we ll not mind if they ll kill ravan in dusserah 2009 , we ll happily watch ramayan like this forever.
