I agree with Misty. I have said this so many times and I will still say it louder again that NOONE has promoted the show the way he has done. And since it's being conpared with Shivi, just take a look at Sai's and her profile, you'll notice the difference. Pallavi not getting the recognition can't be an excuse to lack of promotion on her part. Let's forget about individual characters but the show overall. Sai was always involved with the fandom. He made efforts to connect with the fans and no bias there. Sharing my personal experience, I randomly sent him a dm of appreciation on insta. I wasn't expecting any reply in return but he surprised me, exactly 11 days later... Yep he took 11 days lol and replied with a "thanks so much". A little gesture on his part, he could have easily ignored the msg like most celebs do but he didn't. I was very touched. And it's not just about me but he has been sweet and responsive towards all the fans. Not only his insta but his twitter is also filled with show related tweets and not his personal opinions on politics, entertainment etc.

Like misty said, his self-promotion earlier used to irk many and he was labelled as being "self-obsessed" but even during that time, I know he has re-posted raghvi edits and vms also. Shivangi never promoted the show since the beginning. She chose to focus solely on her work. She didn't feel the need to connect with fans or interact with them. Reposting bhi bahot late start hua and she only reposts edits from specific accounts, doesn't mean she is not as loved as Sai or people don't appreciate her. Just stating a fact, Sai's hashtag and Shivangi's hashtag on insta reached 100k posts on the same day.

What I feel is, this is social media era and Shivangi decided to be an actor and this profession demands hype, promotions, interactions etc. If she wasn't into acting, it was absolutely fine if she was not active on social media but here she has fans who expect certain things from her. It will only benefit her if she becomes more interactive. Baki nobody can force her. It's her wish and choice at the end.

Tv and film industry mai acting aye na aye , one should know to promote herself or himself. Tabhi kaam milta hai.

Skr is a rare combination of both talent and he does well on the promotion part.
