Do you think this is because as a character she's always given the shorter end of the stick. There's no doubt that Raghav is a more stronger character, that has more layers, more emotions and Pallavi got served a bad deal. - I disagree to some extent. RR is a flawed character with so many bad traits of a human nature. P has always been shown as the perfect one with all good human qualities. P was never shown any less stronger than RR .... from the very beginning they both played along equally, tit for tat! P has been shown more intelligent than R in both M and E tracks. Before knowing the truth in M track, she did what she felt right (by leaving R and family, not trusting him etc) and then after knowing the truth she was the mastermind in defeating M, R followed and supported her plan. And now in E track also, after knowing the truth of E, P planned by faking death and scaring her as a ghost, and again R is just following her plan (even complimented her saying she is more intelligent than him). In alcohol and illegal business tracks, she has been shown as winner/successful one simply because her role is just the perfect one and RR's way of business is shown wrong & he was shown as an alcoholic. And she has been shown the smarter one too. Equal amount of screen spaces have been given to both throughout the show.
(on a personal note, I am happy that the FL has been shown the smarter, more intelligent, brave and righteous one)
Sai keeps getting so many edits and fan praise and in comparison Shivi hardly has any. So what happens if she promotes her character and not the jodi. He is promoting the jodi right, shouldn't that be enough?
- I feel Sai has earned it, by promoting his role and the show from the very beginning, by sharing fan edits daily and interacting with and replying to fans (time to time). He made sure to stay in touch with and connected to his fans. And of course, since past 3-4 months, he started to include Shi and her onscreen role also in his promotional activities. Many times if fans were down after a bad episode and requested/demanded to Sai to share some off-screen SaiShi moments, he did that and instantly that little gesture changed the whole mood of the fandom!
Just think of the word "tazbu", the moment he realized fans loved this improvised word, he took it to higher level by calling his fans tazbu gang, himself tazbu leader and Shi as special tazbu. Who would not love such a person off and on screen! He always valued fan love and thrive on it! All through these, RR's role flourished and garnered more n more attention despite being such a flawed characterization.
I still remember when he 1st time came live with fans, omg how awkward and shy he was the whole time. From there he came a long way! His lives became like party times for his and SaiShi/RaghVi fans in past 4-5 months.
Keeping aside social media, the scenario is quite opposite when it comes to solo interviews. There Shi comes across polished and totally in the flow, whereas Sai is uncomfortable or bored 🤣
Tomorrow when you will talk about iconic (for lack of a better word) characters, you'll never put Pallavi at the same level as Raghav. - It's only my believe but RR's role would not have gotten this much appreciation and recognition if it was not played by Sai.
I feel that is grave injustice to her calibre as an actor. She has gone out of the way to make Pallavi what she is (not taking away any credit from Sai as he is a superior actor without a shadow of a doubt) and has proved herself to be a strong actor despite poor dialogues or characterization. - both are amazing actors. the reason why P's role always lacked appreciation and Shi could not be the baby of the MHRW fandom because she did not promote her role enough, forget about RaghVi. It's social media era unfortunately, so fans do look out for these things. Sai brought out their personal bonding in front of the fans, which eventually made RaghVi even more popular.
This is just my view. I'm as inactive on SM and I also don't think about such things so deeply (I relate a lot to shivi because of her practical introvert side) so I can find no fault in her behaviour. None of her actions have any malice or ill intent, she's plain ignorant about this. - totally! like I said in my another reply today, she does not need to change anything under anyone's influence or to please anyone. She is what she is. We don't change ourselves only because some people want us to change, rather we change ourselves only if we are convinced within us that a change is needed.
