Did you like Khal Nayak (1993)?

What a great movie. Did you like it and why? 😃

Yes. It is a well made film with good music and solid performance by Sanjay Dutt. This film took his career to another level. Easily the best film and best performance of his career before he did Vaastav and Munnabhai series.

I do not like the story much (especially the gyan on deshbhakti or references to epics) but actors performed very well.

Needless to say Madhuri was beautiful and hot in it. Ghai had knack of getting heroine to do hot songs but create sympathy for her by showing she did it for greater duty or due to compulsion at hands of villain.

Kids used to copy Nayak nahi Khalnayak hu main dialogue of Sanjay Dutt and shook their heads exactly like he does in the film. It is easily the most popular film of 1993 and the most discussed one too given the furore generated by Choli song and calls to get it banned or deleted.

Baba would have dominated silver screen for few more years as male lead had he not been jailed soon after this film released.
