Sorry to butt in...but culdnt hold myself wen someone else holds xactly my sentiments...👍🏼.i have major grudge with those collars ...Even all her sarees has it..minus the recent deep blue one vich looked absolutely pleasing to eyes....Atleast in major functions they should have let go off those collars...Diwali still , it was bearable n she looked absolutely gorgeous but this one along with those balloon sleaves looks mismatched ....

Imsure all of these would go once there's a changeover or a makeover of hers....n tats why the plain old styling of hers!

But anyways they luk so gud together...❤️

Waise to mujhe usse simple V necks mai dekhne hai but sayad Haryana side aise collars hote hai or they just don't wanna deviate too much from her shirts wala look??

You are right,its Haryana's dressing style,those collars on kurta.

Actually in both Rajasthan and Haryana,ladies used to wear ghaghara and long krtas over them but the difference is that in Rajasthan kurtas have round neck while in Haryana they have collars on kurta.

So maybe thats why they kept collar on her blouses or dresses.

But maybe they've kept collars to keep boyish look even in dress as seen BK clips there even Bokul sarees have collar blouses.🙄
