I feel bad for Ankit

This was legit his first lead role and the character is so horrible that how much ever I like Ankit it’s disturbing to support Fateh after everything.

The character is written so terribly I don’t even want to go in depth.

Makers considered him as the ML then why would they write him this way? They really did him dirty 👎🏼

Respect to producers like Ekta who don’t ruin the characters of their ML to such irredeemable levels.

Ankit, you deserve better!

Ankit is indeed a good actor. He, himself, hates his character as Fateh but that aside he is doing a good job as an actor... Hoping for better scripts and roles for him in future. 😊

Even when actors like gulshan grover did a out n out negative role they gt appreciated. So even if fateh is a lazy bummer, i'm sure Ankit will get his due recognition for his acting.

Disclaimer- I've only watched bits and pieces of the serial so far.

The thing is that Ankit's character is not really what you'd expect from a ITV hero, more so because he slept with Tejo and then ditched her for her own sister. That I suppose is the really irredeemable part for many watchers, especially because Tejo's character is written as a bit of a mahaan one. If he hadn't crossed that line, many folks would probably still be fine with Fateh as a character, and with Fatejo being the end game.

He's not negative, but not very hero-ish either. Can't root for him, but not so bad that you simply root against him either.

Somewhat grey, and you'd say folks like this exist IRL.

Atleast he does get to poke fun at his own character- in today's episode, Jasmine asks him if the TejAng engagement isn't "ajeeb" and he replies saying "I divorced Tejo and am going to marry her own sister, what can be more ajeeb than this!" 😃

If polygny was legal in India, Fateh's character would've happily married both sisters!

On the plus side, the serial is comfortably Rangu's best on the TRP chart and Ankit is raking in a fair bit of moolah, and I suppose that's all what matters at the end of the day!

I haven't seen any of his other work but I have read that he has done -ve roles in the past so I am pretty sure he knew what he was getting into from the start.

In any case some girls like bad boys, no?😆 Even after portraying him in such bad light they are still crying Fatejo Fatejo😎🤡

Bad boys? Ankit has done good roles although I didn’t know he has done a negative role before. Well coming to Fateh, it could’ve been redeemed if they had shown him regret , ask for forgiveness and LET HER GO!

Agreed they were so overconfident with the love the pair priyankit was receiving that they just ignored fans wishes and went ahead with JasFa in the weirdest way possible. They ruined Jasmin and Fateh and destroying even a friendship like fatejo.
Now they think people would prefer a pining shameless Fateh over the mature Angad.😆

My opinion differs slightly. I don't know what Ankit was promised, if it was being the 'hero' he clearly isn't anymore. But do I feel bad for him? Not really.

I have never exactly got the 'good human' vibes from Ankit. He seems ok, bored most of the time, like this entire affair (the show) is pure torture for him. His acting is average at best, and deteriorated very much in between when he was making those big eyes and constipated expression. It has come back to normal now but oh well.

The cast of this show just comes across as forced to me, like they might be friends but they force too much of their bond on socials. It doesn't feel natural and makes them look fake.

I like PriyAnkit chemistry, they are good to look at and have the undeniable spark but the show failed to capitalise on that and now Fatejo is simply intolerable. Their reels and all are good but I don't ever see their 'real' personality.

There was this show, it did not do well but the cast was so good! Literally one big family and that was so apparent. Though I stopped watching the show within two episodes I always watched the vlogs, they were so sweet and simple. Absolutely funny and seemed genuine. the leads (despite a huge gap) had a playful bond.

Bold- which show was this btw? I can think of a similar show for the first and last lines (IPZN), but I think the vlogs started much later, so it probably doesn't quite fit the bill here.
