I have known or heard 10 of these before.

My feeling is that judge's rounds will finish with Sachin/Neelu/Yumna/Vraj/Kinjal/Snighdhajit/Farhan and 4 more.

I liked Farhan yesterday though I am not a big fan.

Singhdha is actually versatile and came 2nd in SRGMP Bangla where Ananya did not make the finals. Vishal backed singers survive for very long in competitions.

Neelanjana has a strong and dedicated fan base, so should be a top contender. We will find out how strong the support for the others is. Farhan being a past winner will have strong support also.

Overall, I felt that the season has strong experienced singers with only Sachin looking like a real outstanding singer. But his problem is that he really only excels in mood songs.
Neelanjana is excellent but lacks someone like Arunita's magnetic pull. Also, her lack of classical training forces her to slow down the song too much in my opinion.
Yumna is excellent overall in her genre. Will see how good she is overall.
Kinjal is a dark horse.

The rest are like usual singers we get in shows. Some just do it better than the others.

My 2 cents.

I think this is a good mix of contestants. Glad that there are some new faces too for the Hindi audience.

As of now the contestants I like are Vraj, Neelanjana, Laj, Arvind, Ananya. Sachin no doubt is a fabulous singer but at this moment I am not interested.

My personal problem with this year's show is of boredom.
I have heard many of them recently, and they are singing repeat songs which are still fairly fresh in my memory.

Let's see, perhaps I will be drawn by a new singer as the season progresses.

I have noticed that they never show Kinjal's age when his name is on screen. Why? What's his actual age?

He looks like a teenager 11 years ago, So, presumably he is in his late 20's at least. More likely early 30's.
