How's this season going on?

Was not following though (except Neelanjana's performances)... Gonna watch this weeks episodes online.

Got to watch Kinjal's 1 performance and i liked it.

I am at warming up stage. Don't know the name of the top 16 correctly.

So far I understand the overall quality of top 16 is good. Dominated by the Bengalis 😃

The girls are looking more promising than the boys.

Aru jaisi koi nehi. Combination of god gifted sweet voice, classical training, great understanding of tune, ability to deliver fine crafts in singing, perfect pronounciation with rational expression being the character, hard work is very rare. ❤️

Seems that I have found a Laadla here as well. 😛

However, too early to conclude on these matters actually.

LAD (Le Ao Donka) in place of MBD. Very distrurbing to me.

Adi continues to be irritating. His dressing sense has gone down. The loud non aesthetic design of his attire caused eye pain for me. 😡

Everywhere II12 flavour. Jury board is there to make a difference but many of them are found to be more model than a musician 😛

Same guests 😉 Even same grand son of Bappida appeared in the show and he reduced a lot!! Need to know the theory.

Seems almost like a Zee Bangla show, especially Sunday episode.

I am sure fish is on the menu this season.🤣

Overall quality of singers is good and the OTT stuff is less than IL.

There are some weak singers too, I expect they will get eliminated soon.

The show will be very good once that happens.

The show has not caught the imagination of the public as yet. That is a big negative for the contestants and for the longevity of the show. It is also reflected in the lack of activity in IL forum.

Overall, I found Sunday episode to be better than Saturday's. Good singing by many including Yumna, Rajashri Bag, Dipayan, Snigdhajit and others.
Expect Snigdha to do well. He is a genuine rock star type of singer, not a sufi singer like Danish singing rock. I have heard him live once and he has great stage presence. A little overemotional, and a little Bong with his pronunciation, but a different kind of singer from what IL presented last season.

PS : Dipayan / Arunita duet may be a big hit. HR may be on it! 🤣

They are singing the same songs as Indian idol contestants and I can't help going back to Indian idol performances (I found them superior)

I watched only these performances this week

There was an interesting moment at the end of the show after Ananya had finished singing "Tomar Ghore Bash Kore Koy Jona" as a special request.
Dadlani is heard to say to SM that "they will cut it out I know (or something to that effect) , but this was the high point of the evening.". SM, being SM repeats Vishal's words to make sure that the song is retained - even SRGMP /TCT don't meddle with SM! 😃

So looks like they are giving arunita songs(songs which arunita sang in idol)to both rajshri and and neelanjana and rajshri is getting perfect tens but neelanjana is getting bunch of 9s too.

Looks like they are preferring rajhsri at this point.

Surprising to see no social media buzz for neelanjana, even on YouTube and so many jury members getting her 9s

Hello all. Haven't watch SRGMP for few years. Yesterday watched a bit of it. No wonder this show has II feel as creative director is you know who 😉😆

Apart from SM, the host, judges and guests all from II. One of these days wouldn't be surprised SM replaced by NK or SK 😆

Don't think I will watch this show as fed up of contestants from other singing reality shows once again given chances. Seems these contestants determined to take part in any singing shows until they win

Surely there are good singers on the streets of India so why same old faces given chances. Is it a case of who you know, and not what you know???
