When I see people objecting on yday's episode where Raghav pushes Esha and she falls down because that's violence and not acceptable by any means, I genuinely want to know how they would react if they were in a similar/the same situation. Does everyone who frown at that scene solve all their disagreements/arguments/enmities with Ahimsa (peace and non-violence)? I don't condone violence and when Esha fell down, it caught me off-guard for a few seconds because I'm not used to being okay with manhandling. Then I remembered everything she has done so far, and it reminded me of this one dialogue from an old BW movie: janwaar ko maarne ke liye kabhi kabhi janwaar ban na padta hain. I didn't like it when VD literally threw Pallavi out of D house post-defamation, I didn't approve of how Raghav locked Keerti up in her room to marry her off. I liked how Pallavi told Raghav the other day that taali ek haath se nahi bajti so he didn't have the right to hit Esha but I can't seem to feel anything for E in this scene. She clearly does not understand when people are putting their points across politely/non-violently (both Raghav and Pallavi tried that). If I were in Raghav's shoes, I think I'd have lost it long back. What are y'all's thoughts on this?
Tell me Ru if roles were reversed and a man was encroaching on your personal space would you be ok? I think Raghav had enough and that's when he pushed her. If you carefully observe the scene when she came close he was seething (already with her fake suicide news), he took his time and pushed her eventually. It didnt happen on impulse, it happened because she crossed her boundaries and he lost it by then.
I'm glad he pushed her because no one has the right to make any person uncomfortable. If roles were reversed, I would have said the same thing too. Similarly, when a woman slaps a man it is ok but when a man does it it's violence? Ofcourse men are more stronger so it can pain more but for a man to be slapped is equally humiliating. So I guess it depends more on the situation and who is making whom uncomfortable.
Eta I didn't like when Raghav slapped Esha when she dumped him, that didn't call for a slap. She's well within her rights to marry anyone she choses even if she had once loved Raghav. He should not have been violent then
