How stupid of you to compare though Shammo was wrong to bring scissor but it was unintentional and spur of moment in game whereas Afsana wanted to harm herself or even Shammo Hence it's about intention. BB was right to evict Affo Bcoz in future She too may have attacked Shammo or any other HM. She had totally lost it
Shamita throws in scissors when people are literally in a ball, snatching away the map pieces from one another. Chalo I'll support the argument that her intention was to make obtaining the map easier and was in no way an attempt to harm anyone in the process, but what if during its use, the scissors had ended up causing injury to anyone? You can't use scissor with utmost care when you're literally pushing people off of you and everyone is directing all their energies towards getting the same thing.
The purity of her intention takes a back seat when her action is one capable of causing harm to another. Just like Afsana's intent while grabbing a knife didn't matter because she could have injured herself or someone else in a fit of anger.
Especially inside the Bigg Boss house, intention mean nothing, its all about actions. I'm sure if asked even now Karan, Pratik and even Simba will reiterate that their intentions were never to cause injury but their reaction was a mere outlet to rid their anger. However, their actions were capable of injuring another and so it was violence as per the show's rules. Same goes for Shamita, just because kuch hua nahi doesn't mean kuch ho nahi sakta tha.
Afsana was wrong on so many levels during her outburst. I agree her reaching for the knife looks bad especially when correlated with her violent streak when angered. She tried to harm herself last time too and so it was easier for everyone to jump to that conclusion when history seems to be repeating itself. However, if intentions do matter because Shamita's intentions were enough to not warrant any action to be taken against her then shouldn't Afsana's intentions matter too when she claims she never intended to harm herself or anyone else for that matter? One gets to use her intentions as a shield to safeguard herself any form of critique while the other's intentions don't matter?
I'm not here contemplating whether Afsana is or isn't in the wrong. I'm just baffled by how it was okay for Shamita to do that while Afsana is being dragged for the same?
I'm happy and relieved that Afsana isn't a part of this rat race anymore, I stand by that. I feel so only because this house is going to worsen her mental health. She needs to as far away from this place as humanly possible and work on her well-being.
Afsana ab galat hai toh Shamita tab galat thi. Simple. Rules need to be the same for everyone.
I think evicting Afsana was the right decision - I don't think she's right for this game, but the reason BB gave was utter bullshit - for this very reason. What I watched didn't make me feel as though Afsana was trying to hurt herself or anyone else with the knife. Haan galti se lag sakti thi kisiko - but then - woh toh Shammo ke scissor kaand mein bhi lag sakti thi. But forget eviction - they did not say a word about that - not BB and not Sallu.
The whole "oh we're evicting you because you tried to harm yourself" is equally bullshit. Pratik did harm himself - and he's still there. BB should've called a spade a spade. And there was no reason to humiliate Afsana by airing her confession room breakdown to the viewers and HMs.
At this point - Shammo herself has shown shock on occasion at BB's bias towards her - so them trying to say ke that's a myth is ridiculous.
I too agree that it was right to evict Afsana. She wasn't in the right state of mind. And even if it was all a drama, then also she went too far by picking up the knife.
But then, you should also evict Pratik, Simba, Karan and Shamita. Pratik, Simba and Karan were atleast called out, so they would be careful now. Shamita's stupidity wasn't even called out so she's very much capable of doing something similar in future.

There is difference between someone making a mistake and someone intending to hurt another person. Should we wait for Afsana to injure someone?
And we should be happy she is out, this house isn't good for her if she thinks picking up a knife and threatening people is a justified response to arguments. It's the difference in state of mind, not just violence. Best to stop before it escalates.
