Deewangi was the superior show in terms of screenplay, budget and script, but Ishq Hai wasn't a critics' show.

It was massy and tbh the first half was better executed without too much of over-exaggeration (which Pak shows have started to do as they are inspired by Star Plus and Zee).

In fact Deewangi gets quite boring for nearly 10 episodes in the middle but Ishq Hai holds your attention till the very end. We had 7 ATs of Ishq Hai on the Pakistani Show Forum 😆 Ishq Hai does have some serious issues in the second conflict created before the show ends, but it wasn't as bad as the 10 episode drag of Deewangi without Sultan 😆

Both shows have had plotholes but both shows mein the soul was the male lead. Don't go on reviews because there are intellectuals online who only give gyaan 😆

Some review mentioned some actions by the ML that even I agreed were toxic 😆 but I haven’t watched the show so I can’t base my opinion on just that 🤣 just left a bad taste in my mouth

The show was promoted based on the toxic traits only 😆

In fact before it aired I thought he was holding the girl captive and the story would be her trying to get away from him.

Then the first episode aired and while his certain actions were problematic, it was not what I had imagined 😆

Comparing both MLs, Shahzaib was a better person than Sultan, more emotional and understanding. Sultan was more aggressive and unapologetic. Both had to fight for what they wanted, lacked support and weren't bad guys.

If I’d have to pick between the two I’d choose deewangi 😆 I did not get a good impression of ishq hai from online reviews and plot summary

I havent seen Ishq Hai but from what what ive seen so far the Deewangi hero seemed to have more issues and be more dangerous😆 Ishq Hai wala seems to be just possessive and obsessed but Sultan from Deewangi was ready for murder.😆
