But this reset was needed - Imlie needed to understand that while being a good wife and a good bahu, she was losing a bit of herself in all that mess. Her taking herself out of the equation will allow Imlie also to see things in a better light, rather than just reacting to DD's plans - she can now actually focus on her dreams and her relationship with Adi outside of that toxic environment (again, the man is not toxic, but the environment in the T house had become toxic because of DD), which will help them both see the other's POV in a better light.

The Aparna and Adi bit gave me a lot of hope that despite everything, Aparna is going to play a huge role in getting these 2 back together again. Her utter trust that Imlie is the one made for her son and her friend zoining Malini was a freaking delight. Aparna now knows that no matter what happens between Adi & Imlie, unless they are together, either of them will never be truly happy (she just stated it as facts, not to demean Imlie in anyway). The fact that Adi could not get Imlie back hurts both mother and son, and we could see them bond over that so well today. Aaj there was no blame, just Aparna at knowing what brings her son happiness, but her utter helplessness in being unable to get her son said happiness. It was poignant and so sweet, that it truly both broke my heart and made me feel good that finally Adi is getting the support he always wanted from his mother with respect to the most important person in his life.

Just a side note for DD - the woman tries to blow the flame of Adi's vishwas ka diya, and got burnt in teh process - showing that no matter what she tries, she is only going to get hurt in the process.

Baaki Adi was so good today - be it his tashan with the new guy, his utter frustration with his wife, him focusing his efforts on saving the diya because that signified the hope that his wife will come back to him again, and the utter despair in the precap where he is not even able to eat, just like his wife - today's episode proved to me again that while these 2 are away from each other, Adi has neither given up hope nor does he want to admit that it was his actions that have led to this situation. The day he understands that fact, I can promise you, the person responsible for all this will be crucified to the point that they will never be able to look at themselves again

Also we got confirmation from the horse's mouth that he is not going anywhere - JP, you nad I will now really need to see a 4 weeks notice and his exit letter now to really believe if he ever leaves, warna toh by the looks of it, this guy is going to stick around till the end, so we will get a happy ending with both of them as our Adilie.

@bold: Exactly, Aps. 😆 As far as quitting the show is concerned, 4 weeks notice + signed exit letter is the minimum requirement for us to believe a word he says. Dharna laga denge hum yeh nahi mila toh 🤣

This ASR is just - the whole time I thought his jaw was aching because his dialogue delivery was so stiff. Uska pehla dialogue toh waise bhi mujhe samajh mein nahi aaya, I was as frustrated as Adi was. 🤣 Like Juvvi ji said... naam pucchne par itna lamba aur bhaari dialogue kyun?! Might be too early to judge his acting skills so we'll see. 😕

I personally found the episode quite light and comedic 😆 ... will have to watch it another time to pick up the nuances. Adi definitely shone today all around, kudos to GM. 👏 I just want things to accelerate to the point where Adi wakes up from whatever slumber he's in and faces hard facts. It's painful to see him acting this big a dud in his ego.

With you on the new guy - could not tolerate him at all, pata nahi kyun.

Agree that it was much easier for me to watch the episode without baggage - I have stopped asking for continuity, sensible storyline, characterization and everything in between, specially when they change/being new tracks - hence a lot of the rubbish is palatable for me.

Also I stick with the FF button - my best friend since the start of this utterly exhausting DD track. Her reduced SS and getting burnt automatically elevated the episode for me😆

I am just ignoring everything new guy related but honestly given the writers track record why do I feel all this nonsense wil make more sense after 100 episodes ( the number of episodes is an exaggeration 😂😂😂😂) cos they never do things the easy way . Just hope the audience sticks around::, seems like trp audience like these udariayann type serials more 🤷‍♀️. Who am I to judge

Got time to read ur reviews now.. Seemed a good epi though.. Will get back after watching coz jab episode acha hota hai.. Hum phass jaate hai vice versa🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I don't know whether its too early to comment on this ASR thing but the fight sequence even while skimming didn't make any sense (waise sense kam hi lagate hai hum bhi aaj kal but still). Just Atif trying out things.. So most probably will FF that too while watching..

As I said anything and everything than didi n her versatility.. We need a good break from that...

RD with u n Aps on things make better sense after 100 episodes but the TRP thing got me a bit worried today even though i get it was due to diwali factor and didi ka drama did the rest of the damage.. Hope we clim back to number 2 as we started with one year of the show..

Trp fall is due to a combination of dd ss and diwali festivities. If they had kept didi at bay and the negativity down it would have been 2.5 or 2.6. Patha nahi kab akal aayegi makers ko.

Udariya , yhc , yeh rishtha and the new vivian dsena show thats coming are all a threat to position.

Exactly.. I don't know about the Vivian's show but he's a trp face too.. But story wise I've doubts.. But te rest u mention got fresh faces with lot of positivity..

At the moment didi ka less se zyaada adi getting his brains is needed which is eventually related to PF..with that pregnancy n didi hanging over.. New ckts n story kya kar sakte hai dekhna padega... Lets see where we are headed..

i don’t know about these shows except what I read on wiki .. honestly I don’t see what the fuss is about them cos they seem so regular run of the mill.. but who am I to judge thars not right. … anyway if the trp doesn’t pick up for imlie then the writers, producers and all have to decide what is best for the show which is to shut down or change focus cos this has and can’t be a mediocre shoe.. for me imlie has always been diff and their story is not the run of the mill. I agree we could do with less dd ss and nonsense but they will Do what they want.

Anyway since we are still slot leader, and number 4 I am not worried. The true test will be this week or next week trp. Vaisai when is this udariyan aired? Is it a late time slot?

I may be stupid or dheet.. but for me the continuity is there but not visible for now to all including me. The story will tie..maybe I have my own story in my head hai SM am I starting to imagine things

Oh I get where you come from - they seem to be holding on to the continuity, albeit in the most miniscule way possible.

But episodes like today are extremely mundane to watch - I held myself from FFing, and was not surprised that it honestly did not make any difference to me either way.

They had some good scenes and lovely throwbacks, but the sensibility right now is in the freaking gutters - unka logic mere palle toh padta nahi, but honestly that has never been a new thing, so I have let it go for now.

Baaki, it was mostly filler and the SS was divided between New guy+family, DD & AC(jiski sirf aawaaz hi suni humne, thank heavens for that), Adi & Imlie & 2 traffic scenes🤣.
