Khanderao tells how happy Malharrao was in the court, he praised him and Ahilya feels proud.
All the widows and other women gather to "purify" Renu for her sin.
Harkubai comes to call Ahilya, the trio rush to the garden.
Ahilya asks them to stop and gives a speech on how she did nothing wrong, it was an accident. The widows and other women oppose Ahilya's ideas. She talks to Dwarkabai saying she should support her but Dwarkabai rejects her ideas saying it's not good to go against society's rules.
Ahilya tries to reason, Khanderao says it's his order. Dwarkabai taunts him for giving such order and then tells Ahilya to not mess with the society's rules and culture.
Ahilya and Renu cry and hug each other.
Ahilya thanks Khanderao for his support and he says he's proud of her but Renu should not cross her limits. Ahilya questions what he means but Tukoji comes to call Khanderao and he leaves.
Parikshit apologizes to Renu in the temple for being the reason of her sadness and he would want to make her happy. Renu tells him they shouldn't talk.
Precap - Parikshit tells Ahilya he would like to marry Renu, Ahilya tells it's almost time to fulfill her promise to Renu.
