I found this episode pretty decent, to be honest. Maybe an unpopular opinion. 😕
Aparna is firm in her belief in Imlie’s innocence and she was so on point when she confronted Adi. I do like that she kept saying we have failed her instead of pinning all the blame on Adi, because the truth is all of the T’s have misunderstood and mistreated Imlie at some point. 😒 The girl has had to earn every bit of love and respect she’s gained in this family, and it shows. I’m glad that this spin to the track will allow the T’s to feel the loss of Imlie in their lives. She wasn’t just the bahu or the beti, she was the very light of the house. I liked Aparna saying that Imlie took the light away with her, that was very accurate. That being said, I feel the writers played it too safe by inserting NN into the conversation when it was time for Aparna to give MC an earful. Her ridiculous question of, “You think I’m lying?” 🤢 should have been answered by Aparna only. That was biased writing for sure. 👎🏼
Adi, Adi, Adi… 😆 I think his hurt is quite valid from his point of view, like Aps said, but to me, it pales in comparison to the pain he’s unintentionally giving Imlie even now. On one hand, he says I know Imlie better than anyone, and in the next scene, he’s allowing MC to sit there and claim Imlie ke mann mein chor hai? 😕 How much of this is loose writing and how much is Adi’s wavering faith? I couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that a man who is missing his wife so much would just sit by and let someone, anyone, badmouth her and question her integrity after all is said and done. 👎🏼 Adi can’t have it both ways, plain and simple. I’m hoping someone or something opens his eyes and helps him see how hypocritical he’s being because if we go by the precap, he’s still on an ego trip. He refuses to see exactly why Imlie left, despite getting a reality check from his mother too. Anyhoo, I’m excited to see what happens now.
