Sanj talks to her dad who wants her to come to her in-laws place for Diwali, she says her happiness is just as important as her in-laws', if they don't value her, she is not obliged to do the same. She cuts the call and Sid comes with decorations. Sid decorates Monu's side of the room, Sanj asks what all he heard. He says nothing and goes on to say that parents are all the same, but we should be thankful to them for making us capable of fulfilling our dreams.

Everyone prepares for Diwali celebration in Parakram SAF. Bala bursts crackers and Karan scolds them, Sid asks about Monu again and Karan informs them Monu won't be coming back.

Sid calls Monu and asks what happened, she shares that walnut won't let her come, Karan's job is at risk. Sid says he will tell everything to Karan but she says not to do so. Dr. Mahajan hears her.

Koel brings sweets for Nikhil, he demands chocolates and tells her he was happy last Diwali when his dad brought cake which she destroyed. Koel remembers her husband hitting her and how she fell on the neatly decorated dinner table. She tells Nikhil to eat if he wants to and leaves.

Faizi gives her a box of chocolates, she asks how he knew she needed it. He wishes her Happy Diwali and leaves.

Mrs. Batra brings Diwali gifts for everyone. Sid also receives one and is happy. Sanj tells him that he should apologise and give her the shawl, no matter how it's made. Sid decides to do it.

Precap : Monu is sad and tries to talk to her dad about celebrating Diwali, Dr. Mahajan tells her that she will be going to London. Karan and Sid think what is Dr. Mahajan planning.
