RD, no controversy. I see that audiences are looking at it as burning the past, foreshadowing of a remarriage and the excitement of it..so looks like makers got what they wanted. The hype, the melodrama.

Imlie's belief confuses me now. Vishwas toot jaat hai toh dhaaga means nothing...agreed, but that dhaaga signifies a lot more. Again, this did not suit my sensibility. I am shocked at myself for the reaction I had for that scene. I am a maharashtrian and I am assuming in many other cultures, that thread holds so much magnitude..you do not burn an emotion, you remove it and let it go, if you have to.

I do not want to take this in any negative direction but Swaha of anything in a holy fire is too much of a disturbing ritual for me. The scene could have been poignant with her taking it out and keeping it near sita maiyya maybe. Because after all wasn't this Sita Maiyya ka aashirwad.

Again please do not mind my rant...it stumped me.

There’s a lot of negative bias against Adi in the main forum and across social media. This is something I don’t quite understand either. 😕 Yes, the man has some frustrating tendencies, but he’s as human and flawed as Imlie is. Why not cut him some slack once in a while?

When Imlie was in her constant DD jaap mode to the extent where she was ready to let go of Adi, she got a lot of flak, but it was nowhere near as toxic as what Adi keeps getting when he’s put on the burner. Why is it easy for viewers to overlook Imlie’s mistakes but not Adi’s? Just because she comes from a place of selflessness?

It is Adi’s selfishness that brought them together and binds them together. It will be Adi’s selfishness that will propel him to fix his mistakes so he can win her back. He loves her to that extent — is there something wrong with that? Yes, he is befuddled and confused and in denial, all things that drive us out of our minds , but the underlying reason behind all this is that he’s a simple-minded man. He is not one who can easily identify deceit and duplicity, not like Imlie can. It is a weakness that has been taken full advantage of, and by the end of this track, life will have helped him overcome it in a harsh way. For better or worse, Adi knows only one truth — Imlie is the love of his life. It hurts her that he can’t trust her now, but does Imlie doubt Adi’s love for her? Absolutely not. She would have left a long time ago had she had any uncertainty on that front.

People who say he’ll go back to MC clearly haven’t been watching the same show as us, or picking up the same nuances that we have. Adi doesn’t need loud declarations of love to proclaim how he feels — he looks at Imlie, and we know. 😳 He has wholeheartedly accepted her with all her flaws. Even in the worst of situations, he has never let the thought of leaving her enter his mind. She’s walked away several times, sometimes for justified reasons, sometimes unjustified, but he has never quit on them. It is because he’s emotionally weak, yes, but he is only so for Imlie. If that is not a man in love, tell me who is. He needs to be given the benefit of the doubt, because that man will redeem himself and swing back as the AKT we all love. I have high hopes on him. 😊

I am just nodding to all the above JP. I will be repetitive if I say anything more, because you all know my feelings about AKT...and NO they are not usually biased because of Gash...😉...

It may have always looked like it was only Imlie suffering...but AKT is the one who go check mated here.

If they do this right...this maybe a role reversal now..."Imlie tumhe jo karna hai karo...but humare liye toh humesha tum hi humari patni rahogi". Exactly the way Imlie was in the first 100 episodes...we may see AKT being the same. I have a feeling before we get a stubborn, selfish for their love wala AKT...we will see him numb for a while where this new villain will establish his position. We may see a classic case of Abhimaan movie with career conflicts etc...does it excite me- no...they tainted AdiLie in a way that anything at this point will be just an extension of the forced storyline. On top of that makers are using the name ASR for the villian...it just amused me on the level of trolling they do...There was/is only one AKT and there was only one ASR, period. 🤢

I just recalled how AKT had saved the diya that night despite of Imlie telling him to let go because it will just give him pain....since the time AKT realized what Imlie and their rishta means...AKT never gave up...he was a pahaad then...should I hope he will be a pahaad again?!

I still have hopes that this time he will try to save the MS - may be I am being too filmy, but something tells me he will try to save it after she leaves and will keep ut with him. He realised he crossed a line today - in the next episode we will understand the actual impact it will have on him.

I do not see how the story proceeds if we do not get an Atal AKT tbh. yeh 300 episode tak bhi iske stubborn nature se chali hai...varna Imlie ne to baar baar Sita Maiyya se yeh prarthna ki thi ki AKT ko Malini didi ke saath khush rakhe...🤢

This I'm not getting lyk itne naam the.. Why go after that..?? ASR was an emotion back then as AKT is now..

I hope they give us the same kind of beautiful redemption arc they gave us during /after PD3..

Just to clarify my point which was that adI asking imlie thar question was like a lost child looking to the one he trusts the most to guide him when he is lost. The only thing is it was ill timed and a bit like the boy who cried wolf cos he keeps saying tell me and I trust u the most but then he finds something to brush it away. It’s his nature unfortunately

Now that the demands of certain fandom have been fulfilled where Imlie has chosen her alag raah- I am not sure when or will it return to AdiLie at this point. I am that section of viewer who watched it for them! I did not watch the episode today, do not plan to. Read about it and I cannot digest such contrivance. Ek baar thik, do baar thik.. baar baar - nako!! 🙈
