Everyone was shocked when he stood at the entrance and confessed his feelings for tejo.
It was tejo' and angad's sangeet function. Angad's family was shocked as well. Tejo didn't react. She ran to her room and cried.
It was decided two weeks earlier, that the former will marry angad, only after that fateh and jasmin's marriage will take place.
Angad went over and hugged Fateh. It was all his plan to unite them. He noticed their pain and feelings.
The former hid his own feelings for tejo as he knew she was still in love with her ex. So he decided to sacrifice and unite them. He knew his decision to marry tejo will bring a twist in her destiny as she was destined to be with fateh and no one else.
Virks were happy and said rab ney benayi jodi but sandhus were speechless . To be sad to lose a guy like angad or to be happy to see tejo united with her love, fateh singh virk??
Angad knew what sandhus thought and said to them. Be happy, ur daughter is marrying the man she loves. He is her destiny. Finally they gave in but were still worried with jasmin's tantrums.
As expected, jasmin finds out that fateh ditched her for tejo, slashed her wrist and admitted to the hospital. Virks said let's go ahead with the wedding since the penauti is in hospital. All agreed.
The next day
All functions mehendi, sangeet and so on in one day followed by marriage next day .
All went on well, fateh took his baraat. Tejo and fateh jai mala done. After that suddenly, blackout. Pandit said , it means ashoob. We cant have the marriage in the dark.
So marriage cancelled and fixed two months later. The next muhurat. Pandit said no muhurat before that.
Jasmin recovered and lived with sandhus since fateh no longer wanted to marry her. Both sisters under same roof. Some sisterly face offs with jasmin telling tejo, fateh is mine only. Fateh used to drop by to see tejo .
Tejo , angad and fateh friendship blossom. Angad still plays cupid for them. Fixing lunch and dinner dates. Deep inside he was hurt but he never showed. A huge sacrifice he made. Fateh and tejo are destined so they should be united. He wants tejo to be happy. He decided to stay on until tejo gets married to fateh. Usko vida karkey phir jaunga. Jasmin still trying to stalk them wherever they go. She tried tricks to separate them but angad always flops her plans.
Two months later, fatejo marriage track started .
Jasmin was sent away to some far relative's place so she doesn't create any problem.
Functions went on well fully sponsored by angad.
On marriage day, fateh brings his baraat. And then jai mala ceremony. After that tejo rcvd an urgent call from a stranger , she excused and went to the front porch to take the call as it was noisy inside.
The academy was on fire. Tejo was shocked. Marriage again cancelled. They rushed to the scene. No one knew how it started. Jasmin was at her relative place. Through investigation it was a short circuit.
Jasmin returned happily and taunted tejo that fateh was not meant for her.
Pandit says next muhurat in a month's time.
So again for the third time fateh and tejo marriage fixed. Everyone prayed hard this time marriage takes place. Jasmin sent away.
Finally preparations started again . Tejo's grandma suddenly falls ill two days before marriage functions started. But she wants them to carry on. She wants to see tejo settled. All went well.
On marriage day, a few hours before the wedding, grandma said she felt like eating tomato soup. Just craving for it. Tejo said she will prepare. But no tomatoes in the kitchen. Sati dolly and rest ladies went to beauty parlor. The gents were busy with the decorations at the marriage hall.
Tejo took an auto rickshaw to the nearest market to purchase tomatoes. There is ample of time to be ready for the marriage. First prepare grandma's soup.
Angad was around the market area purchasing a wedding gift for fateh and tejo. It waa a beautiful watch set. Rolex ka brand. There were many malls at that area.
Upon buying the gifts, his mother called him and said
Aaj baapa ko sindoor chedadey! He is remover of obstacles. Hopefully this time fateh tejo marriage successful. Angad felt his mother was Right. He asked around for baapa temple . Then someone mentioned near the market place. There is a ganapati baapa statue. No temple. Just statue placed on a high table . One of the grocer in the market is a strong believer so he fixed the statue near his stall.
Angad was given the direction. Tejo bought a few tomatoes . At the same time angad bouggt a small vermillion box to put sindoor on baapa.
He was standing facing baapa ka statue . Took out the box from his pocket and taking a pinch of vermillion ready to apply on the the lord's forehead when suddenly his phone rang. He picked up immediately with his left hand. It was a client on the line. An important business call.
Tejo on the verge of rushing to get rikshaw slipped and the tomatoes in the polithene scattered on the ground. She picked up all . There was one left. As she approached, a kid kickes it playfully and his mother scolded him. Apologized to tejo . She went after that one tomato left and surprisigly it kept going. It was rolling on the ground as if teasing her try to catch me. Tejo was irritated but adamant to get it. So she kept moving. The tomato stopped right at the spot angad was standing. Tejo's phone rang. It was sati enquiring where she was.
Sati lectured her for leaving the hse on marriage day etc. Tejo walked up to pick up the tomato while consoling her angry mum on the phone. Didn't notice angad standing nearby.
Angad while talking on the phone realises it was getting late and he needs to leave to get dressed for the marriage .
With his back towards baapa statue and busy chatting on the phone , he moved his right hand holding that pinch of vermillion to apply to baapa's forehead and at the same time, tejo was standing right behind, between him and the statue picking up the tomato while consoling her mother . She bent, picked up the tomato and then
the bomb drops!
Angad mann accidentally applied sindoor on tejo's maang instead of baapa's forehead.!!!
He didn't realize she was standing rite behind him picking up the tomato. As she stood and turn facing him, he applied the vermillion without looking , busy talking on the phone.
Tejo was shocked. She touched her forehead. Just then angad turned. Shocked as well. Moved a few steps back.
Baapa ko sindoor chedhana tha jakey tejo ki maang bhardi. Tejo fainted there and then ..
Sandhus shocked to see angad carrying the unconscious tejo in his arms into their home with vermillion on the forehand. He spilled the events. Rupi hugged him.
See , u always said fateh is tejo's destiny . And u wanted to unite them. But destiny has it's own plans. Instead u were chosen. We are glad to have u as our son in law.
Angad was worried tejo wont accept him . As soon as she regained consciousness, she took a broom and ran after him .
Dekh ker nehin sindoor cheda sektey !
He ran to his car and drove off.
Tejo went to her room. Sandhus were afraid to talk to her. She locked herself in the room for two hours.
Rupi already informed virks. Fateh was shattered. Jasmin happy.
Tejo looked at herself in the mirror. Flashbacks of her meetings with angad. Surprisingly she was not upset. Perhaps she never wanted to marry fateh. She felt relieved. Perhaps her feelings has changed. But she was sure of one thing that this time she will be in good hands . Living with a man who can make her happy and smile. A man who shared her sorrows .
Her twisted destiny yet once again betrayed her but this time it was a sweet betrayal . She was glad.
She rang him . He was afraid to pick up.
She texted him .
Time pey baraat lekar ajana

He smiled when he saw the text
He texted her
Soniye aaj ka muhurat nikal geya
But u fikar not

The muhurat was two days later.
Tejo sandhu married off to angad mann in a lavish ceremony blessed by their families.
Angad wanted to unite fateh and tejo thinking they are destined but destiny has chosen him instead.
