I swear, I am so jaded with this show, and I know that there have been successful ITV shows before which showed characters being more progressive, having a spine and with lesser negativity. IPKKND had one superb villain, a few (actually) grey shades people, and a lot of positivity also. Dahleez was not giving anyone a headache for things as normal as working women showing a spine. Don’t know about other shows other than these but Kajol’s lack of spine is the root of all the negativity in this show for me.

You know that is the same thing I felt. Because that scene where Pishima and Chandana blast Shreya was my favourite scene after the Anjol scene at the shamshaan ghaat and Arjun getting slapped during the wedding cancellation and Bishu's death arc.

Therefore I sort of don't understand ye achanak se she just became this poisonous evil patriarchal hag. That scene made me think that the family is smart, understanding and supports girls and now Chandana plans to give the control of the business to Arjun because he is a man, what the hell!!!!!

BTW Harshad Arora has the market cornered on the slap thing if I count the times he was slapped in Beintehaa and now TSBTSP. For Beintehaa, I sympathise because Zain was a great character, here I relish the slaps he gets.

Beintehaa, where Aaliya respected the elders but in no way was spineless. Even the Ghisa Pita tv shows of Balaji and many other shows with similar themes have been women centric and women having a backbone and working like in Kasauti, Prerna worked then in Bade Achhe lagte hai old and new Priya is a working woman plus in Kuchh Rang Pyaar ke Aise bhi Sonakshi works. I can count many shows where such thoughts had been eliminated but we are back to square one with shows like this.

This show is taking all the takiyanoosi tropes to a different level. And I think this is because of Leena Gangopadhyay's background as a Bengali writer because this issue is a theme with her. I think all her shows have this fight where a girl has to fight everyone to get education and become self-reliant atleast the ones I have seen. Maybe the Bengali audience likes to see such struggles.

When I saw the precap I just wanted Anurag to do one thing (and he’s completely capable of doing something like that)- I wanted him to call the ngo guards and throw Naina out preferably in front of others. This scenario is so satisfying 😍

This is for me the best case scenario where Anurag will be able to support Kajol and they both shall be free from the poison of the Mukherjee- Chatterjee combine.

And I agree Bishu has a lot to answer for. Even I think the hate and jealousy that Naina feels for Kajol stems from his clear favouritism of Kajol. Though Kajol isn't to blame for that as she had always put the family before her. But parents can create this kind in negativity between siblings by being biased or even appearing biased, because at certain times even if you are not biased you may do something that may feel unfair to the one or the other child. But Naina takes it to a different level, that is another thing altogether. She as Kajol said is very immature but she is masquerading as a vamp and will I believe soon fall flat on her face.

She has always been one selfish chick. How come the other siblings never bothered abt Bishu loving Kajol more and it bothers only Noyna ?

And Kajol is in for a rude awakening. Whatever is happening in her house now is still not opening her eyes......very soon her mother and sister are going to give her such a jhatka that she even won't know what has hit her.

Kajol is soo lucky to have Anurag in her life, someone who is not even related to her, was only her fathers doctor and still he does more than her useless family ever did.
