Ya i figured it didn't sound very Maharashtrian at all! Honge kuch Maharashtrian sadanand but typical sound nahi karta.

Also thankfully i do know enough hindi to break up sada and Ananda to understand the meaning of the word. Lol😂

My point when i asked - what the name means was to be sarcastic about how the makers don't even care to pick a proper name that fits the mileu of the show.

One friend is sunny- whose real name we still don't kbow n the other is sadanand- who doesn't even sound Maharashtrian. Virat, sunny and sadananda?! Aisa kuch toh sirf ghkkpm makers ko sujhega.

Was there a KD character called sadananda, have they lifted the name from there?
