The only problem is after dragging things so much in EMA and this divorce drama this comes across as too fast. Also they lack the finess in execution. This comes across as emotional blackmail rather than a heart to heart conversation between father and daughter. That's why we feel outraged.

From what i see is KSV feels disgusted seeing jasfa moving on. Jasmin happy. So he feels bad for t being left alone . And he knows she won't listen unless he emotionally blackmails her. That's his point of view. His mentality. U can say his desperation of showing to jasfa that hei look both of u cheated her but she found someone nice already . And she is happy. U can call it an ego battle.

On the other way round, it could also be that by telling t to get married , f might come into his senses and ditch jasmin. Perhaps he wants f to realise that he has lost a gem.

Apart from this i can't think of any other reasons.

Makers can't do justice to any character , Jasmine is evil , she has no love for Fateh , director should use brain in showing evilness , they lack this point. At one point she speaks dialogues like true lovers and next moment goes talking about zidd. Fateh a moment is show irritated by Jasmine and next moment is hurt by her antics🤣.

It's just , solely Tejo's journey that has got audience hooked to the show. Makers are smart in playing with Tejo's character😆.

Honestly now , than tejang I'm interested in destruction of Fateh's life , he wants jasmine to be his strength🤣🤣

I'm just great at that. Even though my parents are not the kinda people who marry off their kids forcibly/ without permission... I've had plans since I have known that aunties, uncles etc have been bringing rishtas for me.

Desi/South Asian women even from diaspora communities need to learn to stand their ground and make their own decision.

I have been in a relationship with my fiance for a while now. We wanted to live together before we got married. I was away from home and living alone for college/work but I had moved into my parent's for sometime. Me and my fiance decided we wanted to live in together. I just told my dad that I am moving out and moving in with my fiance so I just moved out of parents and moved in with him. He wasn't really thrilled about it and it did create some drama with my family... but he couldn't do much cuz I had made my decision. I am an adult, I am financially independent and I can make my own decision. After a point, he had to be okay even though i don't think he was too happy about it 😆 .. but it is what it is. But that is also possible cuz I live here in the US and parents here don't have much say even though there is the what will people say still very prevalent esp in south asian/immigrant communities. Back home, it would have been a different story i bet.

Live-in and all should be normalized in desi/south asian families. Couple should be allowed to see if they are compatible before they jump into marriage.
