She’s a minor (per law/papers). It would be against the law and he can be charged for it. If a minor and an adult have sex, and the minor gets preggo, the other person who’s an adult can be charged for sexual exploitation in the US even if it’s consensual. At least in the US, idk about India.

U think people actually follow law to the T. Oh dear. But yes in US it's stricter and people sue for smallest of things. This wud count as statutory rape.And the legal age there varies btw 16 to 18 depending on the state.If my knowledge is right New York 17 California 18 and Washington 16. Don't know if they've changed it.

In India it's eighteen yes but we do have younger kids doing it and if something happens it's usually covered up to save reputation etc.

You are right. And yeah ppl don’t. We have a lot case of teenage/minor pregnancy here but usually the partner is also a minor. In my high school, I had few girls who were pregnant at 15-16 😑

When it’s about a minor and an adult, esp if the adult is a guy, the case is completely different and will be looked with a different lense.
