Episode 217 : Renu has accepted society's cruelty!!

I am giving a short update as I am having a really busy schedule but the episode was quite good.

Episode begins with Ahilya going to temple for giving Puja. Ahilya had a talk with Sarja & Renu on the way telling them that she now understands how its being difficult for KR to quit drinking. Renu told her she should spend time with him so that it can be a little easier for him to quit & she is really very lucky to have KR as her husband as he had chosen to do this difficult task as he loves her so much. There a newly wed along with their families came to give Puja. Ahilya and Sarja entered the Puja complex and gave Puja items to the Pandit ji while Renu was left behind standing alone outside the Puja complex. Ahilya was feeling bad for Renu that she always have to stand behind them in these situations. After sometime, Renu & the newly wed girl both discovered that there is a chance to catch fire inside the puja complex & thus both acted accordingly. But seeing Renu doing the act, the newly wed girl started blaming her for entering the complex being a widow. There was a war of words between Ahilya & the other common persons present there regarding the ideologies. Renu told Ahilya that its no new to her & she has done a lot for her, but she knows that this is the life of a widow and she has accepted that. She understood that there are some happiness which she could never get in this life. And thus Ahilya too need to stop feeling sorry for all these and she must stop debating with others regarding the same as she can't change the whole society. Sarja told Ahilya that she really feels sorry for Renu as this girl has nothing to do other than tolerating the society's cruelty in silence.

I could only watch the last 5-7 minutes..

The episode was good. Poor Renu.. and other widows.. they have suffered so much for to the society. 😭
