Anuj was invited by Samar on his birthday at Shah house and he was grinning and blushing while getting ready when his phone beeped with notification. “Aap aarahe hai na?”Her message instantly brought a smile to his face. “Haa, tumse milne ka mauka ke mauka kese chod sakta hoo” and he hit the send button. After a few seconds, he got a beating heart as a reply and his hand went to his own heart which was beating profusely.
He still remembers the day when Anu confessed her love to him in his style. He was the happiest person when he found a beautiful card with a red rose in it. When he opened the card, he read the world’s most beautiful shayari.
“Mere dil ne tere dil ki awaaz sunli hai,
Haa, mere dil ne teri mohabbat chunli hai,
Mere liye tum 26 saal kisike na huye,
Isliye ab main tumhari ho gayi hoo,”
Anuj recited these lines and looked at his reflection in the mirror, he looked handsome in his navy blue blazer and well styled hair. “Wow! man you look amazing, aaj meri bahu tujh par fida hone wali hai, said an over excited GK and a blushing smiley made its way on Anuj’s face. “Gk, Fida toh main ho chuka hoo Anu par, ab buss uske liye tyaar hona chahta hoo, akhirkar chand ke saath rehna hai toh thoda chamkana toh padega", and he winked at him.

Anupama heard the doorbell and knowing the person behind the gate, she rushed to open it and found only GK. "Jay Shree Krishna Kaka", she wished him and her eyes started searching for her man. Sensing her longing, GK made a plan.
"Anupama Beta! Woh mera phone car main reh gya kya tum le aaogi."
"Ji Kaka!",She made her way outside the house. "Yaha toh koi nahi hai?" She wandered. "Mujhe dhundh rahi ho?", a husky voice made her startled and she lost her balance when Anuj held her from shoulder, "Araam se! Anu'' and she looked at him lovingly. "Ji woh!! Kaka ka phone reh gya tha car main wahi lene aai thi", said she nervously. He looked at her nervous self but he was mesmerized by her. There she is standing in navy blue coloured silk saree and her hair left open with little makeup and red lips looking absolutely gorgeous. "You look beautiful Anu.", He whispered near her ear and her breath hitched and a blush crept on her cheeks. Unable to meet his eyes, she gently came out of his grip and said "Woh kaka ka phone dijiye na, unhe chayie hoga." Anuj chuckled at her innocence. "GK Apna phone apne saath lekar gye hai Anu,", unable to understand anything she asked, "Toh phir unonhe mujhe kyu bheja?" Anuj chuckled and decrease the distance between them and took Anupama in his arms, "Taaki Tum aur main thodi der akele mil sake," now she looked at him flabgastered that how Kaka made her fool but nonetheless she was glad that she got some alone time with him. Then she noticed him all clad in her favourite navy blue blazer and smiled at their colour coordination. Anuj was observing her and he understood her silence, "Tumhari mohabbat milna khushkismati hai, aur tumhare manpasand rang main khud ko rang na mera haq", his shayari made her chuckle and she softly beat on his shoulder,, "Shayar Kapadai! Chale andar sab intezaar kar rahe honge." Saying this she detached herself from him and started moving ahead leaving him all love struck.
"Happy Birthday Buddy!" Anuj wished Samar and hugged him lovingly followed by Gk and Samar touched Gk's feet and took his blessings. Vanraj, Baa, Toshu didn't look pleased with the arrival of Anuj but they can't do anything but being a silent spectator of the scenario. Soon the birthday celebration took place and Samar cut the cake and fed everyone.
"Bina dance ke celebration kesa?" Said Mama ji and everyone agreed with him when Kavya said, "Let's do a couple dance V!" However her suggestion irked Vanraj but there were two souls who were happy by her suggestions. "Bilkul Mrs. Shah! Everyone has their soulmates beside them, so we should go for a couple dance." said Anuj with his eyes on Anupama. When Vanraj, Baa and Toshu said together "Nahi koi dance nhi hoga" only to get shunned by Babu ji, "Tum teeno ki dikkat kya hai? Vanraj tu apni life main aage badh gya hai aur jisse pyaar krta tha usse shaadi krli ab jab meri beti aur Anuj ek doosre se pyaar krte hai aur inke pyaar ko maine ashirwaad dediya hai toh tum logon ko koi haq nhi banta kuch kehne ka, Samjhe!" Three of them nodded their heads and Babu ji brought Anu and Anuj on the stage.
"Chalein!" Anuj extended his hand towards Anupama and she put her palm in his with a smile. Kavya felt jealous with the way Anupama was getting pampered by Anuj as she wasn't lucky as her husband is now sulking by looking at his Ex.
Anuj held Anupama in his arms lovingly and securely while they swayed to the music. "Aaj aap bahut ache lag rahe hai Anuj,"Anupama complimented him and his face adorned a beautiful blush. His blushing face made Anu chuckle. "Thank You Anu," he whispered huskily in her ears. She kept her head on his shoulder with shyness.
Vanraj who was unable to tolerate their closeness goes to them and detaches them. He harshly held Anupama's hand and tried to pull her when Anuj held Anu's hand in his grip and instructed Vanraj to not to cross his line. Anuj's anger however scared Vanraj but when he didn't budge Anuj went towards him and stood like a wall between him and Anupama.
"Mr. Shah! Anu tumhari koi property nhi hai, jiske saath tum kuch bhi kar sako! Aur mere hote huye toh kuch karo esa main hone nhi dunga samjhe"
"Isiliye aage se Anu ke saath zor jabardasti karne se phle sochlena, ab tak sirf Anuj se mile the lekin aage se esa hua toh Anuj Kapadai se miloge,"
"Aaj Samar ka birthday hai aur main koi tamasha nhi chahta isiliye behtar hoga ki tum peeche hatt jhao, Warna I will make sure to destroy you and your wife in such a way that you won't be able to recover. This is my last warning to you." Anuj's eyes were now red and to calm him, Anupama caressed his shoulder which worked.
"V! Kya kar rahe ho tum? Kyu barbaad hona chahte ho? Chalo yaha se", with this Kavya dragged Vanraj with him.
"Thank You! Anuj, Thank you very much for protecting and loving my mom. Your and mom's togetherness is the best birthday gift for me." Samar hugged Anuj and showed him his gratitude. Anupama and GK looked at their bonding and smiled.
Anuj & Anupama's platonic love has made me fall in love with them and thus after reading so many Stories on them. I decided to put my imagination in words. I hope you all will like it.😊
