She will realize it eventually. It was important for Bapuji to be absent, otherwise he would have silenced them or they may not have said all this. She needed to see the sickness in their minds and feel the sting so that she could stand up for her self respect. I really hope she leaves this time and doesn't get emotionally blackmailed by Pakhi or Bapuji, but Vanraj wouldn't want that because he would have no one to challenge or fight with.

I hope what we are thinking is true. Anu has some hint about anuj's feeling. She is not completely oblivious about it. Now it makes it even more interesting that even after having a hint about his feelings she is not holding herself back and has no problem in maintaining friendship with him. This is something we never expected from her. I always used to think that when she will come to know she will create huge drama and even shout at anuj for feeling that way.

Yepp bapuji getting up and leaving was so ominous. Poor anupama needs strength to bear all that is coming her way. I too hope she moves out now and gradually connects with anuj as a friend or companion - whatever she needs.

But thinking from a writer's point of view :

If she does move out, how will the writers get the other cast involved and interact with anupama. Now kavya also has been fired. Unless they make her as a neighbour but still the interactions will be minimal - how will they run the story.

Of course the worst would be if leela saying terrible things, involving their society members and finally forcing anupama to marry anuj. Hopefully, our itv favourite trope of a forced/marriage of convinience should not happen. Come on CVs, please surprise me.

No, for her story to be meaningful, Anuj has to be her choice, her will and hopefully her love, not her obligation.

It also looks like she's finally beginning to understand that not everything baa says should be tolerated just because she's an elder and that baa never truly accepted her a daughter. She will support her son at the end of the day even if he's wrong. Devika's words will slowly sink in.
