The amount of times Shaurya has used words like education, bright student, SIAC, institution,TC etc...he has not used in the rest of the show🤣🤣 just to circumvent around the fact that 'he likes her'.
Okay, sometimes i think Shaurya has not realized that how much he hurt her. He knows he messed up big time, but why is it hard to accept that in front of Anokhi when he could do that in front of Kanchan? I still feel he does not realise how badly he messed up. I can understand not being able to express his remorse as he tells her that he cannot always express what he feels as he is an emotionally bottled person. Him acknowledging that there is no undo and asking for an option made me feel that he does feel some remorse.
The Saberwaal house drama...uff...Devi manipulating Shaurya again to make him feel emotionally vulnerable. And initially you can see Shaurya stutter and feel nervous on offending Tej but he comes back strong. Why i find this scene important, this is where shaurya differentiates from Shaan. This is where things change for shankhi. Shaurya is able to stand and fight for the right things irrespective of emotionally being manipulated by Devi. I am assuming, shaan could never break out of this trap.
On first look, Shaurya - Kanchan feel random but again this is the second time Shaurya has stood up for her. I think this gave Kanchan the courage to go an talk. As Shaurya-Anokhi were supposed to be a repeat of Shastha i think Kanchan was supposed to be a repeat of Gayatri. Kanchan has the courage to break her shackles and dream, she just needs that Push.
Kanchan can clearly see what Shaurya cannot. How easily he admitted that he was wrong and that he should have never said those things about any girl. While I did feel his tone was casual here but i think he meant it. He almost uttered, 'I don want her to go' and then rephrased it. I liked that kanchan gave him some clarity and asked the right question, 'only as a student na?'...
I love this morning scene at Shaan's flat. Shaurya and his uneasiness to apologize and yet. He will say all the rubbish in the world, give all stupid reasons but not a sorry. This annoyed me and made me laugh. I liked that Anokhi caught on to his uneasiness and knew he came to apologize and yet did not give in. She knew his intention but still wanted what she wanted. Shaurya and his vase breaking anger, he really needs a lid!!!
The catch and fall was ITV but cute. What was subtle here was Shaurya's eyes went from her lips to her eyes. I love these subtleties of the Shakhi romance. Along with the attraction that zings between them due to their minds , now even the physical attraction is evident. TC nahi milega, such an idiot he is!
My only area of confusion is Shaurya's feelings. He knows he crossed the line, shows remorse and then again asks stupid questions to himself that should i have said sorry? He on one hand tells her that he can express everything and on the other hand asks her to got get stuck to one thing? What is this weird confusion?
Side Note 1: When Shaurya asks Anotkhi to thank her, it a direct hit at his patriarchal upbringing. the man saves the woman and she thanks him with a smile as she is indebted to him. I love the shock when reality of AB hits him in the face.
The many shades of Shaurya Sabherwal!
Shaurya is an egoistic lover boy as he talks to Anokhi. He's patting himself in the back and asking for a "thank you" I know he just wants her acknowledgement, but it's done in poor taste. And for him to think that if his actions don't keep her at SIAC then it was useless shows how much he doesn't understand. I'm glad he asked her straight and received the answer he wasn't expecting.
"What is the problem"
"Aap sir"
"Ek baat jo tumhe kehdi...woh tumhe itni hurt kardi?"
"Baathon mein undo ka button nahi hota"
"Chodo na....ho gayi baath....bhool jao uske bare mein"
I'm glad she's open about the hurt his words caused her. He has to understand that she is just as affected as he is. She asked for an apology. They tried to add humor to the serious scene which was okay when I first watched it, but on rewatch I feel like it's tone deaf to gloss over such a serious issue.
"Feelings matter karti hai........koyi feel kare tab na.....dil se sorry na nikhli na, uski koyi fayda hi nahi"
"Yeh zaroori nahi Anokhi, ke jo main feel karu, woh main keh bhi pao....sometimes people just need to understand"
This was true blue ShaKhi! She is naïve to his unspoken feelings and he wants her to understand his emotions through his actions. She tried to make him understand but at this point, she doesn't care and that's something he can't handle.
Shaurya is an apologetic but rebellious son when he talks to his family. The Sabherwals overlook the content of Shaurya's argument and blame the reason and the person. Shaurya won't outright call his family out, so he uses ignorance as a crutch to explain Tej's actions. It's sad to see that he can't handle his family's disapproval and becomes restless when he explains himself to Devi. Alok just pours kerosene on the fire; it's no longer right or wrong but pride and respect. One dialogue I found interesting is when Shaurya says "Ek teacher, apni ego mein aake, kissi student ka career barbaad karde" which sounded a lot like Shaurya's actions. And again in Anokhi's absence he defended her "I know she's right and I know she's bright....intelligent, imaandaar, bright student".
Shaurya is his most genuine self with Kanchan. He's sulking and contemplating his apology but his talk with Kanchan really brings out the actual issue. He thinks Anokhi did something wrong too. "Usne bhi kuch kaha aapse?" "Kaha nahi....lekin hurt to kiya na". He still feels like Anokhi chose Ahir over him and that hurt and jealousy isn't allowing him to apologize for his vile actions. He catches himself being open about the fact that he doesn't want her to leave, but changes it to "We don't want her to leave...she's an excellent student". An astute Kanchan makes the observation "Only as a student, right?". The insinuation. The implication. "Aur koyi wajah kya hai mere paas usko rukhwane ke liye?" Shaurya should go and contemplate that!
Side notes:
~ I know the punch to the wall and the sorry Shaurya says is funny. And maybe it was. But it's problematic that he can't give a real person that apology!
~ Tej understands that a disease called Anokhi has taken over Shaurya(body and soul)! The gears are turning for Shagun's comeback. I wish they hadn't used that plot device!
~ It's frustrating that Shaurya would rather fight with Anokhi than actually apologize. But we did get the first real fall and catch with jo tera howega playing and all the feelings. Also, yellow looks beautiful on Deba!!

It's not a new thing with Shaurya that he spouts words in anger that don't necessarily go through his internal filter. He's kicked Anokhi out many times without really meaning it. And he has this weird expectation that others(Anokhi and Aastha) should let his words go. He does have remorse because he messed up, but his remorse is because of the result of his action and not the action itself that he regrets.

Sooooo true! It's the first time Shaurya has really stood up for Anokhi in front of the whole family.
On first look, Shaurya - Kanchan feel random but again this is the second time Shaurya has stood up for her. I think this gave Kanchan the courage to go an talk. It's interesting you say that Kanchan parallels Gayatri. If Yash had a bigger role it might have turned out that way.

I didn't feel the physical attraction until the car ride. But this fall and catch was definitely the beginning of something.
My only area of confusion is Shaurya's feelings. He knows he crossed the line, shows remorse and then again asks stupid questions to himself that should i have said sorry? He on one hand tells her that he can express everything and on the other hand asks her to got get stuck to one thing? What is this weird confusion?
It's love! A consuming but confusing love! It's laughable that Shaurya ever thought he was in love with Shagun since he didn't recognize what feelings were when it came to Anokhi.
Side Note 1: When Shaurya asks Anotkhi to thank her, it a direct hit at his patriarchal upbringing. the man saves the woman and she thanks him with a smile as she is indebted to him. I love the shock when reality of AB hits him in the face.
I love that she does thank him for his actions, but doesn't give him the glory of being her hero!
It took Anokhi leaving the city and confirmation from Reema for Ss to realise that raising doubts about a girls character is demeaning and very hurtful.
Did Ss think that Anokhi will jump out of joy and stay back? yes indeed he fought with his family…but as he usually claims he does that for any student .., so Anokhi was right that he was mixing up two different things. He can’t negate the things he said with his support in proving her not guilty. she did feel grateful that he helped her clear her image but she has no reason to stop leaving the college. She doesn’t want to face a person everyday who thinks so low of her.
I am sorry ki Maine apse sorry kehne ko bola… Anokhi realised that he never thought his words were wrong/ hurtful in any sense and when he doesn’t realise his mistake there is no use of her asking him to apologise. Feelings ki samajhna chahiye…Ss… what do you want her to understand? Rightfully asked by Anokhi. Because for her it always was a bitter after taste in issues where he was involved. Agreed that he helped her in ragging and Bablis case but it was his righteousness that made him do so.
Ss going against Tej that too in front of others and that too for Anokhi obviously started a panic attack among the trio. And why not? They already have an inkling of the budding affection Ss is developing.
BM.., what good intention is she talking about. It wasn’t out of your good will that she gained admission, Tej had no choice given she proved her worth by doing exceedingly well in the interview. Questions would’ve been raised by non sabherwals if she was denied.
Ss didn’t mean any form of disrespect to BP but for Tej it was so and it’s very difficult to change Tej’s perspective here as Anokhi is involved. As if it wasn’t enough, Alok had to point out how other members smirked just so Tej won’t be convinced by Ss’s reasoning. Betty are worthless characters who, each time are given a free pass for all their wrong doings. No sort of reprimanding except a few remarks from Ss.., poor kanchan is all geared up to present the facts only to be stopped by BM.
What a shocker it is for the trio to hear so many praises for Anokhi from Ss!!!
I know she is right, I know she is bright, and then she is intelligent, honest.
Why do BM and Bp still want to plan after Ss announced that she is leaving…and BM saying I know what that can be… the keeda which has gotten into her mind is obviously Shagun😡
Ss still trying to figure out what has hurt Anokhi… and contemplating if a sorry would have been a solution… there comes kanchan and the start of kanchan Ss association. It took kanchan a little effort to get him to speak out and assure that she can be his confidant. And the problem is solved. But before that how does Acp holding Anokhi’s hand count as Anokhi hurting him? What a child he is!!
And finally!! Sorry bolne aaya but didn’t.
It was funny how he barged in when Anokhi said there’s no one at home. A couple of funny moments coupled with the start of proper eye contacts. And Anokhi looked angelic in this scene and the dupatta looked too good..Ss looked like a cute child throwing tantrums more than a professor. Tumhe TC nahin Milne wala…

That was very childish of him indeed
I know he just wants her acknowledgement, but it's done in poor taste.
He still believes these were mere words and nothing else! In what world does this guy live? I want to slap him and tell him, take stock of your actions!
Shaurya needs to be told that what he says affects people. He is not the centre of everything. Out in the world other people count.
"Yeh zaroori nahi Anokhi, ke jo main feel karu, woh main keh bhi pao....sometimes people just need to understand"
When you grow up in an environment where you have no true emotional bonding, showing your emotions is very difficult. Shaurya, unfortunately is one such person, but he is learning.
This was true blue ShaKhi! She is naïve to his unspoken feelings and he wants her to understand his emotions through his actions. She tried to make him understand but at this point, she doesn't care and that's something he can't handle.
Why should she care for his feelings?
Shaurya is an apologetic but rebellious son when he talks to his family. The Sabherwals overlook the content of Shaurya's argument and blame the reason and the person. Yes, I felt that he is so under their debt that talking aginst them is like a punishment to him.
Alok just pours kerosene on the fire; it's no longer right or wrong but pride and respect.
That is his main role in the house.
These words tell us he is good at heart but Tejvi has fashioned him in a certain way that he believes to be right. But now that he is in the real world he is learning.
Shaurya is his most genuine self with Kanchan. He's sulking and contemplating his apology but his talk with Kanchan really brings out the actual issue.
Shaurya always needed that support in SM, finally someone is listening to him genuinely.
He thinks Anokhi did something wrong too. "Usne bhi kuch kaha aapse?" "Kaha nahi....lekin hurt to kiya na".
I felt sorry for him here. He felt so comfortable with her after the kidnap attempt and even opened up to Anokhi, but the next day, touchy feely Ahir was all over her and that was the last straw. Maybe in his circle women uses men in such fashion so he is projecting his experience on Anokhi.
He still feels like Anokhi chose Ahir over him and that hurt and jealousy isn't allowing him to apologize for his vile actions. He catches himself being open about the fact that he doesn't want her to leave,
That slip of the tongue says everything about his true feelings and Kanchan has already grasped the crux of the matter.
but changes it to "We don't want her to leave...she's an excellent student".
He is practising with the wall, next time better give him a doll..
~ Tej understands that a disease called Anokhi has taken over Shaurya(body and soul)! The gears are turning for Shagun's comeback. I wish they hadn't used that plot device!
I hate the Shagun plot, it was awful...
~ It's frustrating that Shaurya would rather fight with Anokhi than actually apologize. But we did get the first real fall and catch with jo tera howega playing and all the feelings. Also, yellow looks beautiful on Deba!!
I liked her look when she was revising for the test.
Everything I wanted to say has already been written, so I am just putting in my comments and thoughts.
