Task Cancellation: All Equally To Be Blamed

Every person was equally to be blamed for the task getting ragd.

How much the other 13 really cared about the task cancellation:

  • When BB announced task cancellation and the setup being removed, they kept cursing Pratik and asking him to change his decision. Did any single one of them say that Ok I change my vote because I dont want the task to be cancelled & wasted? 🤔 -> NO
  • Did either Jay Or Vishal offer to back down to save BB's setup of the task?🤔 -> NO ; they kept being in their righteous mode and blaming pratik for it when they themselves had an EQUAL chance to save the task if they really wanted
  • They say Pratik was acting childish and adamant, what were they doing 🤔 - were they not equally adamant to NOT make him a contender? Their leader Kundra was ranting about how each task pratik does this. So if you knew this is what will be the result, what was your effort in avoiding it other than just playing the blame game? Just because you had the numbers, you make it look it is only the other person's fault.

It is so evident BB included everyone in not being able to come to aapsi sehmati and not just one person.

Lol no reasonable person agrees when a stubborn child makes unreasonable demands. They did give him fair chance for contendership n arrange votes. And honestly even last week he got contendership so why so many chances to him all the time.

The point here is about "Saving" the task, not about who is right or wrong - that discussion can continue forever. I am talking about the "intention". None of the 13 had that true intention to actually avoid the setup being wasted. They only were interested in pratik.

And I dont agree it was unreasonable - each one has the right to stand for himself. They were equally stubborn - that is the whole point, whatever the reason - they have a convenient reason because they are 13 and will look to be correct.

No they were not stubborn!

They did make him contender last time already, they would look absolute fools if everytime they let him do his wrong things and give up. Other hms deserves an equally fair chance. My way or highway is wrong attitude.

Well, I just wish to reiterate, I am not talking of the rationale - that is subjective that each one can have an opinion upon. My point is, they could have saved the task - it was in their own hands. Later they act like BB's effort, money is being wasted and look so crossed. If they genuinely felt about the task as such, they could have saved it. 13 on one side and 1 on the other makes it convenient to pass the buck. I am not contending the merits - everyone is entitled to their view on it.

Task is important but not at the onus of looking like absolute fools to the audience.

I am sure they wouldn't. They could infact have achieved their target (putting down pratik) far more convincingly had they saved the task. It would have made them look the bigger person.

So they should’ve simply bowed down and agreed to Pratik’s demands, if they cared about the task. And if they didn’t - then they don’t care. I don’t agree with that black and white outlook - this game has more players than just Pratik. He has never learned to choose his battles - it’s always his way or the highway. That’s why this task cancellation is on him.

He’s treated more than fairly - he’s given his fair chances - yeh alag baat hain that he screws tasks that start off fairly before they even begin. If he wanted to be considered a true contender for captaincy - he should have done more in the task than be a mahaan aatma. Whatever the criteria BB might have set - this task was to have a bearing on captaincy. He didn’t do well in it - and his throwing a tantrum for it therefore, and justifying it under the guise of uneven numbers is simply - Pratikgiri.

Had it been anyone else, making such demands in a task where their contribution doesn’t deserve it in the least, where just the week before they had a chance at captaincy which they screwed someone else over in, and who has rubbed pretty much everyone there the wrong way at some point or the other - Pratik himself would’ve never bowed down against them. None of them would - and I don’t see why they should. That’s like saying the adults refusing to give the child a lollipop every week are the ones responsible for the ensuing drama.

My two cents.

Respect your view. I would disagree somewhat. I dont think Pratik has been given fair chances. Yes, he hid the screw in the chariot task but that did not disqualify Jay - jay could still have continued as teja had said there but he chose to rather spoil it for pratik to a level that he couldnt continue. His hatred didnt end there and he carried it to the next task where again Pratik did not get to play to enter the house as Jay - being his partner was spoiling it for him and everyone else. SO it wouldnt be right to say he has been given chances fairly. It is absolutely ok if they dont wish to bow before him. But then so is pratik from his perspective. There must be a reason BB said aapsi sehmati and not bahumat? It just shows who is willing to give it up and who not.
