Reading those comments by Dada makes me respect him all the more. Kuch bhi bolta hai, dil se bolta hai. The only time I felt his comments were scripted was last season in Tejas's first audition where he says 'ab tak ka audition ka sabse behtareen performance' Whatever comments he gave that day seemed like he was trying very hard to act but failed 🤣 But this also reminded me of another comment of his, my favorite one, also in last season. You gotta see it to understand - See from about 8.20:

You can actually find Geeta's comments in the babuji dheere chalna video on YouTube. Rare video where they have kept the criticism. I always wondered if Geeta thought that Esha suddenly became refined in a week? Because after that she never mentioned this.

I don't know if they stopped being honest or the producers started editing it to suit their narrative.

I recently saw a video on Neerja's insta where Neerja and Bhawna are thanking Nirmal and Geeta ma gives her comments on the act. The whole things was obviously cut. Was wondering how much of the actual thing is cut you know.

Also thanks for sharing this.. it was very funny. Tushar seems to have done a similar choreo in IBD as well! And Geeta got pranked twice? These people must think viewers are idiots, no?

Really great comment and comments before this as well! Read them silently before, but really wanted to express something which I think other people may have noticed as well and you bringing up the whole narrative idea really inspired me. I think midway through the season, I began questioning a lot of the judges critiques - it almost didn't feel real at a point. I have no idea why Super Dancer was so strange this year, I've watched past seasons with my mom not thoroughly but enough to sort of guess what we can expect from reality shows and something always felt so off to me with the judges this year, almost like they were always trying to push some narrative like u sort of made reference to. In the auditions and first 2 weeks, they never really praised Esha, made it about the eating jokes, then suddenly she comes back after a break and with a new guru and judges can't stop raving about her even when her acts weren't that great. It really frustrated me at a point and again, this isn't to push or talk about my favorite contestant once again but I really, truly feel like Florina was really neglected in this matter and it wasn't fair to her at all.

Yeah, they made her win the show, and honestly I'm not surprised about this because if she hadn't, I can't imagine the social media uproar, but it was so unfair of the judges to hold so many expectations from her and then never once give her a constructive comment. Additionally, they never once talked about her lack of experience and I'm sure they had to have known. Don't the kids go through some sort of background check? Even Tushar waited a LONG time before revealing her lack of experience and I guess I only hold on to a grudge against the judges for this because this is a kid who came on to the show as a 6 year-old, had never once done choreography before the show started, and had received all this attention from the public... everyone had expectations from Florina and the poor girl had to forget her own style and adjust to TS and still it never occurred to the judges to maybe once go out and say that ok she's a freestyler and is really doing her best? It was unfair to first select her as a freestyler and then pair her with Tushar. If they couldn't find a guru that matches her, they should've done her the service and not selected her but no they needed the TRP she brings and then could never justify her accordingly. I guess what I'm trying to say is that they always had to always play the cuteness card with her. As much as I love Flo, she really struggled with this show and the judges and show did her absolutely no favors. There were so many other moments as well that really proved to me that they were neglecting to talk about Flo's growth. I mean Shilpa was always hesitant to praise her in the beginning, but during her husn-hai suhana where we could finally see her adjusting to choreo, the comments are pretty much cut, and again nothing constructive. Then, again in the Neetu Kapoor special when she delivers the best performance of the day, she didn't receive any appreciation like a seedi or even proper, nice comments from Geeta. I wonder had Esha, Prithvi, literally anyone else delivered that Chuck Chuck act how would the judges have reacted then? There were other instances like this throughout the show where I remember not being able to understand why they wouldn't give her proper comments and as someone watching the show only for Florina, it really sucked to see. The shaadi special, they completely erased her comments and two more recent examples I can think of was the Jai Ho, the kid's shoe came off for God's sake and still the judges couldn't say 2 words to acknowledge how her performance was not even the least bit affected by this? They go all crazy with comments for some kids and then completely neglect the one kid who I could argue has worked the hardest, I say this because again she had never done choreography before the show while others had some sort of experience and at least came to the show knowing how to memorize steps. Then in dil-dooba again, ever kid received the seedi that day, except her, why? Are you telling me the Dil-Dooba act was not on the same level as Esha's apsara ali? Prithvi's naagin-dance I can't even remember? Like I just could never wrap my head around this, it just feels plain wrong and unfair because a lot of the hate Florina receives, which is more than any of the other kids (and is slightly expected as well because again she's garnered the most attention from the kids in terms of audience support) is simply because the judges have never once said anything constructive to her ever or ever tried to make her look good. Her efforts were never even considered once. I'm pretty sure even she must've noticed that at one point too. Everything she did is made to look so irrelevant but I really think Florina has accomplished a lot through this show and on her own with TS. She matured, learned to cope, and was even matching up to and even shining more than TS himself at one point. Anyways, just wanted to let this out. Thanks for coming to my TEDTALK🤣

Bold - He did! TS uses a lot of the same moves and concepts throughout all the shows he does or at least I've noticed this... heard other people say the same but he's not one to experiment. I think the act you're thinking of is his Badtameez-dil with Subhranil where he does the same song and same concept where Subhranil pretends to forgot his steps and so on. It's almost the exact same but I guess you can't plagiarize yourself so he's fine. Still think he's a wonderful dancer and human being. As a choreographer, eh there's room for improvement🤣

Yeah I don't think Geeta got pranked the second time. She knew of course, but wouldn't say that on camera now would she 🤪

Also, yes, saw that portion. Mahn, Neerja spoke a bit for once, and they cut it! Ugh, it looked like such a real moment. But I didn't like the way the judges just laughed it off, like, the heck?? At least acknowledge what Neerja and Bhawna just said?? This video if anyone's looking for it -

I think the reason why Sanchit received a lot of criticism and Flow was never appreciated was because of their fan following. It would practically trample everyone else's chances if those two were kept on a pedestal every time. And it worked didn't it? People began to think Shubranil was the most genius choreographer there is, and Prithvi even overthrew Sanchit's popularity. Imagine if Sanchit had been praised for all those performances? They didn't want the uproar that would come by criticizing her, but they also didn't want to elevate her already huge fanbase. If they had revealed her lack of experience on the show, the audiences would have warmed up to her a lot more. I mean, look at Esha's fandom, everyone thinks she is the queen of expressions, youtube se seekhi aur itna zyada growth hua etc etc.. they all gobble up whatever script the judges blabber. But I also feel like the judges didn't even know about Flow not having done choreos before. I mean Geeta for sure would know the technicalities of it and would've appreciated her a lot more. But I don't think they knew. If they did, they hid it well.

This season taught me not to consider the judge's comments over my own conscience. I've learnt to judge and appreciate what I see for myself rather than waiting for someone else's opinions. If the general audience starts doing that as well, the results of the show might have been vastly different.

Out of everyone I really expect geeta to know about this bcoz of her experience in the industry. I remember she was the one who pointed out in grand premiere that flow is a freestyler and that mega audition battle was not choreographed. So she must have also realised looking at her initial performances how tough it must have been for that girl to adjust to choreos. Anyways I give complete credit of flow's growth in learning choreographies and later even outshining TS to her hardwork and Tushar's team. As much as we have seen, judgement on the show must have hardly helped her.

What the heck was that, now loosing the bacha hua respect i had for them 😡 the Nirmal guy was working from the top, Neerja looked up 😡 So they show respect to gurus for only one episode dedicated to Gurus that too relevant in their eyes ones 🤪... Yaar, after all these coming to lights, no one could trust anything goes on SD anymore.

So true. Makers messed up a big time this season. I won't blame the judges entirely bcoz there used to be comments in the promo but not in the episode so that means atleast some judgement was given but I do blame them for not taking a stand against this. At least people like us stuck till the end bcoz shaadi special was like the end of patience for most of my friends who started watching the show only for flow. They were so done with this show where her hardwork was never appreciated. Most of the kids and choreographers on the show were either overly praised or brutally criticised or just neglected. I feel sad for aneesh bcoz at least flow had a huge fandom to back her whenever she was neglected. Kids like neerja who hardly spoke, if they had something to say like in this video share by Felix, was it so necessary to edit that. Do the assistant choreographers not even deserve a minute of recognition in a freaking 70 minute episode. One week geeta blatantly criticising sanvar for no reason and next week her comments are not shown after a fantastic performance to enrage the fans even more and to just garner attention.I remember prithvi coming from an indigent background as it was highlighted so much but I had actually forgotten it was a quite similar case for soumit as well which was hardly ever mentioned except for the mega audition episode. Every season had some or the other kind of biasedness but not crystal clear like this season had with hyping someone so much.They should seriously learn how to run a kid's show. You have to be very sensitive and you just can't keep using them as per the script. Everything went according to a script written by the writers this season and public kept getting annoyed. No wonder they lost their trp.

Ehh don’t get me started.. on how the judges treated sanchit.. he brought a lot of trp on the show too.. he had fans who created massive outrage too.. he was improving and was already unstoppable when he’d perform.. yet they were the worst to him itself.. everyone knew either flo or sanchit would win and everyone was ok with that.. kinda accepted it already.. say, i was also ok if sanchit came 2nd or whatever.. but they massacred his and vartikas self confidence time and time again.. and im sorry, but honest opinions kisi ko nahi mile hai.. but inko not just honest, unnecessary rude and crushing comments mile hai time and time again.

it had seemed to me that sanchit would win earlier.. but they started sabotaging that to make the others look better. Some of them were EVEN doing the same act they have performed since day 1. Yet, apparently they were better?? Sanchit’s treatment is my cautionary tale into not getting too invested anymore.. he was a winner and everyone agreed on that whether they were rooting for him or not.. yet, the judges kept crushing him.. and really, not being honest is still better than crushing a 11 year olds confidence. Other kids also worked hard but deserved honesty sometimes. However, noone deserved that brutality that sanchit got.

It is a JOKE to me that subhranil is a genius because lying on the floor making ugly shapes is NOT genius at all. I cannot talk anymore about tushar also.

Noone deserved the sweet treatment they got when sanchit was the only one getting crushed. At the very least, it should have been honest. There was no need to be rude to anyone. And there is really nothing worse than that.

talent mostly used in worst ,anner was soumit and aneesh. aneesh has earlier participated in south indian reality shows too. he was always made to perform at last for few mins only. totally unfailr.he is a very gud dancer,but never allowed the smile to fade away from his face. soumit is very fast and energetic,lekin these guys ruined it.still not able to digest that florina is the winner🤢soumit,aneesh ,anshika are far better than her.total bias.

wow..thank you for pouring out my vent on sanchit here.i bashed the sony tv in the insta directly,as soon as they started giving worst songs for him.i sent manybrequests to his dad too,in one stage i felt more than channel,vartika was crushing his talent.i warned people earlier that the way this channel is hyping and taking sanchit to top,it wont take seconds for them to put him down.sony did that exactly. i even requested the channel to bring in deepika soni or rupesh soni for sanchit as they were best for his style.but every complaint of mine went to deaf ears.

I did come to know the dirty politics sony does behind the scenes in IBD season1.

Choreographers not given the choice to select the dongs of their choices and forced to dance on guests songs.I was rooting for rutuja,bit they gave award to tiger.i never liked him in first place.

i never thought sony will trash SD4 like this.so bye bye to reality shows of sony.i watched this show only for sanchit.no one else. and what a damage to classical dance in the name of street oh classical🤢.
