Agree. I, for one, totally started watching the show only becauase of him and watch mostly only because of him. In the process, I discovered that Sumbul, Kiran Khoje, Indraneel (DC), however dumb their characterization might be, are also really good and natural actors!!!

But GM is my primary reason to watch the show!! Much to my husband's blatant disapproval I might add 😬🤭😉

I feel this is all a big stunt again by the PR Team to wake us up to some pretty shocking, disagreeable plot twists, basically a repitition of what they did with the supposed prank from last time. They saw how important GM was to keep the show running and hence wrote this really weird character track, effectively changing his entire arc from a very upstanding, aware person to this dumb idiot who did not trust his love.

Obviously, they can't have Gashmeer pull the same prank again, and are really testing the waters again to see how to develop Adi's character from here on, because with Imlie's acceptance into the family, what is really left for them to struggle for? So this is basically to open up another Pandora's box to keep the triangle alive. SO maybe this time, Imlie will have gained the acceptance of all the Tripathis, but something will happen that Adi will be upset with her. Possibly some disagreements at the internship, which will be stoked further by Malini and will go into the familiar trope of Babusaahib now not trusting her professionally....

Seriously. We are one unlucky fandom where we are not getting one peaceful happy episode. On top of that, the leads behave as such they are brother and sister.
