Ok, with this new information now about GM potentially quitting the show, my REALLY wild theory for plot trajectory -

Malini and Anu get exposed for their deeds. All's well for Imlie and Adi and they begin their usual shaadi-shuda zindagi. Thoda sa leap hoga jiske beech mein some nice Adilie moments, internship, graduation etc., ho jaayega. And then something happens and Adi dies (basically that is his exit from the show) and Imlie is now basically the beta, patrakaar of the family aur woh Adi ke bina bhi rishte nibhati rahegi. And her journey will comtinue with a new male lead possibly!!

P.S. subah subah mere google news feed pe yahi news aa tapka!!!! Kya zamana aa gaya 😳
