Episode begins with Ahilya stopping KR in lifting the heavy weight. She asked him in teary eyes about why is he doing these stuffs, he may hurt himself through this process. KR told her that instead of thinking about these stuffs, she should actually think about other things like how his father is always disappointed of his each & every actions. He told her that where all people of Malwa are excited about this grand win, there his father is not at all happy about this. He said that he had heard a story in his childhood about a king with two queens and he liked one queen & hated the other one no matter what. Even if she does any good too, it can't melt king's heart. Same situation applies here too as if he does something good too, it can't change his father's heart about him. He was, is & always will be an irresponsible lad according to his father. And he told AB that this is the reason why he drinks and will continue to do so & left the place.
There in the mahal, GB & the women co. along with AB doing some work related stuffs where AB was doing the same absentmindedly. But fortunately only Harku Bai who sat beside her notices her & thus took her away declaring that they are going to select the clothes for vastra bitaran. HB asks Ahilya about what's troubling her & tries to comfort her. Ahilya says that she is very upset with MR & KR's strained relationship. Her brain stopped working now. And she said that she is also worried that even Gautama Bai nowadays thinks that she is somehow responsible for this. HB told her that she need not have to worry so much because no matter what a father & son's relationship mends with time & it can't break apart like that. So she should worry less.
GB was shown to be instigated by Dwarka Bai & YB against Ahilya telling her that there was something happened between KR & MR at the temple premises & Ahilya was there too at the moment. And they are amazed to see that Ahilya didn't even bother to tell her about that. GB didn't say anything and seemed worried.
There MR in his room thinking about KR's incident happened in the temple. And he was thinking on his own remembering KR's behaviour that on whose hands he will be leaving Malwa. He was being worried about Malwa's future after him when Gunoji came to meet him. MR told him that he is really sorry that the "muhim" assigned to him was done by KR. He could feel his pain being a soldier (sainik) himself. He told him that he still thinks more like a soldier rather than a SUBEDAR. But Gunoji as usual tried to be "sidha-sadha" types in front of MR to be in his good books over KR.
KR was shown coming to AB's room in a drunken state & AB closed the doors behind them. KR thanked AB for choosing to be his wife & told her that he felt in love with her at the time when he didn't even know what's the meaning of love/pyaar.
