It may be the weakest YT performance at 24 hours by the duo since Idol.
If memory serves me right all HR released duets/solos of the two did better at this stage.

But HR is an established name and had an established platform. Some difference was to be expected.
I think fans and makers heightened expectations.
As a maiden release by makers/directors this may be a very satisfactory beginning if we cut the hype out.
Hype does not always work. Even some Salman Khan produced films don't do well despite all kinds of hype.

Sometimes I feel 'Arudeep' sensation was eastablished due to the exaggeration of the youtubers with sardi wala voice. 😆 They still think they will get some views with Arudeep stuff even after II12!!! May be there is a microscopic market for Arudeep - big enough for the youtubers!!

P.S.: My personal analysis is Arudeep fans are mostly PD fans. Aru fans are not that much excited about Arudeep. 😊

That is very evident even in IF.

It is good for Aru as she gets more fan support.

And I liked some of their duets in Idol. The chemistry was good. It is the excesses that put me off.
