The whole family drama execution was monotonous with the screenplay, camera zoom panning/dramatization, etc. While the parents are perturbed about their reputation over what the wedding caused, Arjun's not fazed by this much/whole begging in front of the so-called society. I'd suggest watching the episode at a bit faster duration because whoever is editing the episodes is just going overboard with the episode effects, clip transitions, etc. For example, when Arjun carried Diya, the BW (Song was from mohabbatei) bg score was OTT, No offense. Dramatization skills can be toned down to make the show more bearable.

One line that Arjun stated that he said in his relationship with Diya: there is neither a buyer nor a seller. He's never thought of development of love, nor did he get the time as he was solely concerned about Diya's respect getting thrown under the bus under societal pressure -- something he's witnessed probably from childhood (hence calling his father a businessman & criticizing his mother's vishwas) -- his linkage to Diya is causing a ruckus but he wants to be accountable for Diya's dreams as the other suitor turned out to be an imposter.

He even called out to Diya for feeling pressured to walk out of the relationship yet allows for her to decide to walk out of the house but not the marriage as she isn't the sole person to take the decisions -- it has to be mutual. He, himself is ready to walk out with her as he wants respect in any form of relationship over manipulation. Much kudos to the actor playing the role.

Regarding Diya, she herself expressed gratitude for helping her achieve the dreams but with the way the wedding occurred, it has caused a lot of dismay within herself & she has noticed that others aren't satisfied with it either. She admits that she broke the promise to Arjun's mother hence felt that she will only get dismay by further undergoing the post marriage traditions. In this scene, some might find her unidimensional but she just doesn't want to initiate the married life by putting more salt on the wounds to herself & to others. She knows this marriage is based on her aspirations but doesn't want to further cause anymore conflicts. Though I'm a bit mixed perspective about her, as I do found her unidimensional a lot but she feels herself when she's in the badminton arena. One member has raised concern about fixing the badminton moves, but Arjun's motivation & Diya's dedication towards the game is pertinent to the core I guess.

I'm open to other perspectives but the show has potential minus the side characters.

Finally someone opened a discussion on the show again😅. I have been wondering what all your thoughts would be on the post marriage track so far.

I thought I was being weird by thinking the dramatic camera effects were too dramatic, after all, post marriage is where the real drama begins, so I should expect nothing less. But I think they got a bit carried away and should dial it down a bit for now.

As for Arjun's lack of display of emotions/ expressions, his sister in law explained that he's inexpressive on the outside, but on the inside he's emotional. Outside of this explanation, I have noticed since the start of the show that the actor portraying Arjun isn't really expressive. I overlooked it thinking since the show has just started, everyone would need time to get more into their roles and they would form the character overtime, but the expressions of Arjun remain almost the same. So now I'm thinking that maybe this is just how Arjun is meant to be portrayed, emotionless, he's been through a lot and he's lost his zeal for living, but he's found a reflection of his old self in Diya, so overtime, he'll get light back into his life and he'll find himself again and maybe we'll see a change in Arjun. Only time will tell.

I feel like what happened at Diya's wedding probably reminded Arjun of what happened to him at the badminton academy, where he was embarrassed in front of everyone and no one really took a stand for him. As he said, he sees glimpses of his old self in Diya, passionate about badminton and naïve too. He sees the opportunity to do better through Diya. So by marrying her and making sure her dreams are fulfilled he saved her from being shunned by society and most importantly, Diya doesn't have to struggle or be alone like he was. Respect and understanding is what Arjun and Diya's relationship/marriage is based on, something they both lacked in some way or the other from other relationships in their lives and Arjun saw the opportunity to have that by marrying Diya.

Some of the side characters are okay. Tina isn't as convincing as a villain to me, I don't know if it's her expressions or what, but she's not convincing. I think Karan is doing more of a better job, he's actually, you know more of a threat. As for Maduri her character was and still is so weak, easy to manipulate, has double standards and never a strong mind to think for herself, you literally heard your husband sold off your son, who you're supposed to love dearly, to his business partner's daughter as part of a business deal, and yet you aren't convinced enough to keep Tina away from him, and now you have her living in your house. The way they portrayed her as having so much love for Arjun in the beginning, you would think her character would be the one to understand Arjun's reasons for marrying Diya. I really thought they would take her character in that direction. Why build her up like that to only go in the other direction? I feel so annoyed by Arjun's dad and Luv. I really like Khush though, he's unproblematic so far and seems sweet, despite being married to someone like Niharika. Although, I feel like Deepika and Luv have some underlying marital issues, but we'll see what is their problem later.

Not sure either if this marriage will change him/return his zest for living, because tbh when they did the turmeric scene, I felt a bit of disconnect too or maybe like you mentioned, it's for Diya's career progression that he's being more reactive. Diya herself has mentioned that for Arjun, badminton brings an immense energy while others, like her, consider it as a mere game. I do find their characterizations at times a bit unidimensional or maybe the writers want to take their sweet time to explain how Arjun overcomes the misery after his career got tainted. Who knows? 😆

I have found entire family of Arjun (except for Daadi and Bhabhi (not the one wearing the purple dress as I found her styling, acting & character completely bland for the story purposes)), Diya's family (except for her cousin-sister), and Tina annoying. 😆Karan is a better villain than that Tina, whose just going probably fuel more fire so I get irritated at Tina's presence --- might be the poor execution by the actress or what, dunno but she's just tad irksome.

Yes, it is a parallel to what Arjun suffered and he unabashedly didn't care two hoots because he's experienced the reality of getting tainted in his career when he was at his prime perhaps.

Tina's just annoying as hell. I mean, I get that she was ditched on the wedding night but Arjun knew her motives and was just maintaining a "formal" relationship to probably appease his mother. What just irked me was the fact that he listened to her advice when he himself berated her for being obsessed with him but I guess he couldn't care less because right now, his priority is Diya & her badminton career. 😳😆I prefer Karan over Tina as a villain because it's not that cliched route as opposed to Tina who's just a plain psycho at this point --- would rather prefer Karan because there is more meat provided as to why Arjun criticized him on the spot.

I feel that Arjun's intense love and passion for badminton will eventually get tangled up in his married life/growing relationship/love for Diya(all of these are steps I guess not in any order) he'll have to learn to separate the two🤔. Maybe by then we'll have a better understanding of Arjun's intense passion for the sport as he tries to navigate all of the feelings and emotions tied with it🤔🤔

Niharika is the curly headed bhabi😂 Shoba is Diya's cousin sister, I like her as well, she's sweet. The names are a bit trickie, but hang in there you'll get it soon😉

Karan should be back too, from the precap we got for Monday 25th. Thankfully we'll get some badminton related tracks, with the only worthwhile villian in the show🤭🤣🤣

It still doesn't make sense to me why Tina is living with them. Doesn't she have a home of her own? Her dad who loves her so much is all alone in a big house, while his daughter in an environment that isn't healthy for her mental health, given what she went through with trying take her own life🤦🏻‍♀️ What kind of dad is he? Tina serves no purpose in that house, it would make more sense if she probably popped in the house for rituals/ once in a while post marriage and then she starts working with Karan more. Besides, doesn't she have some big secret or role in ruining Arjun's career? I'd like to know what she did🤔
