Lmao as a child my parents didn't have a TV at home. Even when we got one I was seven and they didn't got cable TV until I was 15-16. And at that time I HATED them for it. I'm so glad that I wasn't exposed to this kinda bs and actually got introduced to good literature, because I remember my classmates talking about shows like kabhi sautan kabhi saheli 🤣

Anyway beda garak hai aisi future generations ki wajah se.

Oh wow same here same pinch I didn't grow up with a tv at home we only had movie nights every Saturday where we got to watch a movie after we passed our spelling bee quiz. Otherwise no tv or anything only those Saturdays .

I till my 11 grade had never viewed any content on tv only movies on our home theatre.

I too never understood at that time why my parents did it but maybe that's why I had a full fledged childhood where I played every sport under the sun and worked on honing my skills and investing my time on my hobbies rather than infront of a tv screen.

I maybe that's why so love sports and adventure activities bas my parents invested my free time there as they believe d tv mushes ur brain depriving ur creative development.😅

Lmaooo my parents had this one movie per week rule. I just ended up getting a habit for reading. Dad used to run a library and we have lots of books. I just used to read them. That's where my love for literature comes. Even in movies, shows I'm so intrigued because they've a story underneath the pictures and videos.
