Yes he did. Totally copied Amitabh in expression and voice, dialogue delivery and attempted to copy Dharmendra in comedy scenes and Dilip Kumar in tragedy scenes.
This is why he failed in films.
He succeeded only on TV and was copying Amitabh there too. He was known as Amitabh of TV or sasta Amitabh once. He is a talented and popular actor but obvious copying of older legends is hard to miss in his performances.
