RS knows that writers cannot manage two parallel leads and these days everything is so extreme but he will have a backup plan. Harshad and trps do not go hand in hand.

I had read an article that RS was very impressed with Harshu"s performance in BP and SP was keen on YRKKH spin off and apart from Shaheer, he had suggested Harshad's name but SP wanted the former as the role was more of easy going character. Therefore, Rajan had kept HC in mind.

Harshad is a far much stronger actor and can do intense roles as well as the typical ideal husband/ son roles so I guess rajan wanted harshad keeping a particular role in mind for him.

Oh god what is wrong with them, their casting is overall so wrong. Each and every actor is a miscast.

I think the hype will eventually drown for this show, from the promo itself it looks boring and stale. Akshu is the same too sweet to digest and Harshad's character seems very much similar to Kartik. Kya bakwas hai ugh

Mayank looks exactly like aarambh. I think they have casted the siblings well. Only Harshads character seems like a miscast.

RS thinks he can make new yrkkh lead like mishbir, but don't think it'll happen. The age gap is evident. The girls look very young in front of Harshad. Either they shud have casted a younger guy or they shud have casted girls with mature look. RS's obsession of casting young unpopular girls as leads is gonna cost them. He is banking on Harshads online popularity, same strategy which he applied for the spin off by casting a popular actor like shaheer against an unpopular actress and on the ichhe node remake story, let's see whether he'd be able to hit a jackpot like anupamaa with this storyline.

Can we wait for atleast episodes to go on air before coming to conclusions that HC will look miscast. Let's give the actors a chance to act!!! Atleast give them a chance to grow on audience mind...

The plus point is Harshad can act. I personally feel that Harshad is very good looking till date but really no clue why RS brought HC on board and since he did, the fls do not match his facial appearance. Infact Hina Khan would have looked fantastic, even Surbhi for that matter.

I still cannot get over his grey characters like Sahir Azeem Choudhary and to a certain extent Aditya Hooda. Here he won't have the scope of playing multiple shades.

Over and above Harshad was shirtless during the BTS. Rajan has broken his own record.

For me HC is more suitable for finite and web shows. The man is talented.

RS has always casted young new comers or unpopular actresses. He'd never cast senior actors like surbhi and erica in his shows. Since yrhpk he has started casting senior popular actors to get online engagement.

He wasn't interested in the spin off that's why it had horrible storyline, and since the so called parallel lead was his favourite he deliberately shoved them in between the leads story, that's why audience didn't like the show and it shut.

But since he says that yrkkh is God's own show, he won't take any chance. Already by letting go shivin and bringing generation leap he has taken a risk, so he wanted to play safe by roping a popular actor with massive online fanbase and he knows how to connect a cord with offline audience so I think with this remake he wants this show be a big success like anupama.

After watching the bts and pictures and promo which hc posted I feel initially like other dkp shows the story would be good, characters would be interesting but then later on they'd start the torture. Imo Harshad is looking good with the girl playing arohi.

RS was another Sickand as he destroyed his own show fr Anupama. YRHPK fans roasted him on twitter. Yes, he wasn't really interested in a spin off and the " I do not care a damn vibes" were very visible. However Shaheer and Rhea put in lot of effort for the chemistry which was negligible initially.

I am happy that HC is back on TV but there is too much of backlash happening which is quite common as during Bepannaah, his haters were quite a few in number but he turned the tables with his performance.

I too prefer Abhimanyu with Arohi, they are made for each other types. The girl playing Akshara is a doll in front of HC, their pairing is similar to beauty and the beast.

I was hoping that HC takes only web shows like Barun Sobti but I guess his choices are different.

I agree, shaheer and rhea did try a lot for their chemistry to work. Shaheer even lost so much weight to look good beside rhea. And their chemistry was pretty much good post leap after they got a makeover. Even though they hardly got good storyline and screenspace they managed a gain a massive fandom. The way they took twitter by storm after yrhpk off air news, I don't think any fd did so many trends continuously with lakhs of tweets. They really succeeded and made sure that RS gets intimated by them. RS was so much terrified that he didn't even allow media on set for last day farewell.

The new yrkkh and Harshad will get a lot of backlash because a lot of fds are involved. Like the kaira fd, jenshad shippers, bepannah fd then yrhpk fd and mishbir fans because the actors age gap factor is similar to that of rhea and shaheer and then Abhimanyu is a shayar, which was an original trait of Abir. Plus the love triangle and sister's love /rivalry is very much inspired/copied from gayu kartik Naira triangle and mishti kuhu dynamics. So comparisons and fights and indirects would surely happen.

Hmm but if they'd make aarohi way too negative and self centered then fans would obviously lean towards the other pair ie akshu and abhi.

If he wanted to do web then last years mein hi kar leta woh, now he has given his commitment to this show. If it gets successful then surely for atleast 3 years he'd be stuck in it.
