Its her gandi soch that she thinks she got more love from her baa-bapuji than by her own family. Its her regressive thinking of not saying anything to baa cos she is her so-called mother who never considered her anything but a free ki maid. Its anu's gandi soch that she never called out on toshu for insulting her. Its anu's gandi soch that she keeps pushing samar towards vanraj even after being tortured by him. It is anu's gandhi soch that bapuji considers her like a daughter cos even her loving anupama he did nothing constructive to stop baa, vanraj, and toshu from taunting anupama even after getting divorced and being single. Its anupama's gandi soch that she thinks its her responsibility to be available for the shahs - be it cooking, earning, listening to taunts 24x7. It is anupama's gandi soch that she has no qualms of answering to her abusers on what she is doing with her life.

Baa and vanraj are like this cos anu let them treat her like a trash. Just answering back few times after bundles of taunts doesn't make her progressive as she thinks. She could have shut baa, vanraj and toshu with a simple warning of legal actions but will she do that?

Had Ba and beta been shown their place at the outset by Baapuji or his mother they wouldn't have become such monsters. I was so angry when devika was scolding anu and she was even then defending that baa.

I guess may be because she knows that if she doesn't live in the 'Baa is bhagwan' delusion, she will have to face reality. The realty that her living situation is weird AF. That the family she spent her life building is a toxic failure. That she continues to ignore her real mother for Baa & Bapuji. That Bapuji manipulated her into continuing to live like their maid.

Basically she is the prime example of Stockholm Syndrome 😕
