This remake formula has been working for the channel and has gotten it the top spot over it's rival channels after them struggling to beat zeetv back in 2019 when it had shows like both bhagya shows, guddan and tujse hai raabta getting good ratings, which star plus news shows at that time were all flopping and even yeh rishta ratings kept going up and down. Going to join ? Any news there … I don’t mind him being kairav too , if he’s sidelined he may get a female lead with him in a few months once the story moves forward

Yeah! Also the new promo doesn't even feel like yeh rishta at all. feels like a new show under the yeh rishta name, kind of like seasons 2 and 3 of iss pya ko kya naam doon that had completely different tones, stories and cast compared to the famous season 1 yet just kept the ipkknd recognisable name (actually season 2 with shrenu was actually intended to be a different show but last minute they changed the name to ipkknd ek bhaar phir just to milk the popularity of the sanaya-barun starrer).

And as I said in a previous post that ichche nodee remake had already been planned and announced by SP a few months back with namik having been reported as male lead, but they have now changed it to yeh rishta new post-leap track just following ichche nodee story instead of telecasting a new show.

They have already sidelined kairav ....very clear from promos ,2 promos are out , kairav is nowhere also kaira in heaven mentioned their nishani n strangely Arohi was there instead of kairav🤢... already established that Harshad's role is main while audience still unaware about Harshad's role identity, irony... I don't think Namik Paul will agree to do side role... main role hota but popularity vk wjh se side role ho jata to that's a diff thing like kaira.. but here it is very clear kairav won't be a lead

I don't think he will be kairav. It's probably rumour. And no way the writers will be capable of doing screen time justice to both popular male actors, so now that harshad is confirmed to be new male lead and the promotions are all focused on the new character played by HC and the two sisters, I'm certain that kairav will not have any real importance post leap like naksh was treated and neither will they get a big popular actor to play kairav in order to save the makers from the effort of having to please two popular actors with giving them equal importance. The new post-leap promotions have no sign of kairav,

Because it's not in a continuation .... During start of kaira era, it wasn't like intentionally all previous story got closure n fresh kaira started.. it was in continuation like naira lost , akshara -naitik was there .... Once kaira got popularity slowly then they killed akshara ....even before separation of kaira....essence of ye rishta was there... When kaira was happening , rose marriage, naitik's brother betrayal, naksh story... In fact naksh had equal weightage... slowly slowly kaira overtake happened ...it wasn't in a rush to wrap up akshara-naitik

But now , even if you see promo, kairav is totally ignored while he was the entire base/plot of kaira milan post 5yr leap... N suddenly he disappeared... Also Harshad's role is still unknown , but he is in promo ... While this thing never happened with kartik ... Naksh was equally or more important

Possibly this leap has been forced by Star Plus. The channel has done the same with SNS also in past.

Whenever Star Plus forces a leap, the story is a copied one and the characters are not even aged properly.

In Kaira's time atleast the transition was so good that the Singhanias were given proper treatment. Naira was born, then grew up, teenhood rivalry, then adulthood and love story - All seemed normal.

This time the leads were not even shown growing up properly. The Goenkas will continue without any proper treatment & makeup as it is a spin off show.

Finally got d promo.It's very sad that they sideline kairav.....and as usual yrkkh creative team and great writer of yrkkh disappointed us.

So let me get this straight

there is a river and if you throw a coin and make a wish it will come true.

So aarohi makes a wish that the boy fall in love with her, but since the coin originally belonged to akshu which she snatched from her. So indirectly aarohi made a wish for akshu. And when akshu makes her wish, she wishes that whatever aarohi wished comes true. So basically both sisters made a wish that the boy falls in love with akshu.

I don't why but I find this hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣
