Didn't like that promo. Udaariyaan feel - 1 guy & 2 sis. 👎🏼 Cast is looking misfit with each other. Hope story is good.

I think I’m the most excited for Harshad Chopda being a part of this show.

Exactly! I'm a big big Harshad fan but I think he misfits in this show. He is already a big established name but can they pass him off as a 20 something guy where Akshu most definitely would be a 20 something girl

I am here for Harshad Chopda and since it's remake of Iccha Node serial, many says, Male lead is a good character. So here for him ❤️

Also disappointed with the whole two sisters one guy thing. Wish they had given a promo with only Harshad and Pranali (Abhimanyu and Akshu).

Gossipstv said the post-leap story will be inspired by ichche nodee, so it makes sense that one of the sisters appears vampy here considering in that bengali show one of the sisters was really evil. BTW a remake of ichche nodee on SP had been announced few months back and namik paul at the time was reported to be playing the lead, but seems instead SP have asked rajan to instead turn the yeh rishta post leap track into a remake of ichche nodee instead of creating a new show for it.

A lot of people are complaining about this. It's ridiculous that the first-born child of the original leads is ignored for the position of post-leap lead if the first-born is a boy 🤢

Why could not RS just sign in Namik Paul instead? Harshad has vibes with the ML from the OG. In fact Pranali will look fabulous with Namik. Is Rajan keeping a parallel story as a backup ie Kairav and his love interest in case Icche Nodee does not work, that is why Harshad is not there in the montage.

I'm not exactly sure. To be hones to a certain degree I am feeling namik being cast in yeh rishta was a rumour because there is yet no confirmation, plus if namik gets cast as kairav then they would ahve to find a way to not be incompetent in their writing and actually try and balance story/ screen-time between harshad and namik's character's stories, else if namik is cast as kairav, i'm 100% sure these itv writers will as per usual slack-off on writing proper tracks for kairav and whichever actor will play kairav will get fed up.

Yes I now believe that it was just a rumour but no media house approached him at the same time, neither has he come out with some statement. RS knows that writers cannot manage two parallel leads and these days everything is so extreme but he will have a backup plan. Harshad and trps do not go hand in hand.

I had read an article that RS was very impressed with Harshu"s performance in BP and SP was keen on YRKKH spin off and apart from Shaheer, he had suggested Harshad's name but SP wanted the former as the role was more of easy going character. Therefore, Rajan had kept HC in mind.
