This scene serves absolutely no purpose except to remind the actors/viewers/makers themselves that all is actually not well as yet with Adilie, and there is still tension, in case we think that everything is resolved with them, what with him reprimanding Malini in front of Imlie and trusting her with the pen drive and all that. And this is also to throw some bone to the Adilie fanatics to go "Awwwwww, how cute that Adi wants his jhalli to talk to him" for their divine, Seeta Mayya sanctioned love. 😠

The audacity of this guy to say "I understand" to Imlie, as if she is the one that needs time to process what he did. Grrrrr. Aditya, again, if your character were played by someone else than GM, I would have probably smashed my TV/Phone screen by now!!! 😬

And what does he expect Imlie to do Pag Dandiya style? That she hold a bandook to his head to make him accept that he was raped by Malini and he did not help by deleting the video?! Nonsense. 🙄

I sometimes wish Imlie would just flip the entire Tripathi family the bird and walk away with her wajipha. The one saving grace is that the Rita Skeeter of Imlie (for those who follow Harry Potter) aka Malini was not seen lurking around trying to eavesdrop on their conversation. Thank you Seeta Mayya for small mercies! 🤷‍♀️

I'm dreading these convos coz every time Imlie asks him to trust her regarding Malini and he stays silent my heart breaks. this is one thing I'm not able to digest and it has ruined adilie for me. I just wish they don't show any convos b/w them, it would be easier for us to watch. It's just rubbing salt in the wound rather than comforting to me at least.

Absolutely. Well said. Adi better not talk anything would be fine. He still has not understood the gravity of the situation and the mistake he has done. He doesn’t know still how he is going to keep Imlie relevant in the relationship when actually a baby comes.
