This may be an unpopular opinion but the getup is as gaudy as it gets, especially the work on the costumes. Not that it's new, the costuming on this show is usually terrible, especially for functions. I'd have been surprised if the costumes weren't an eyesore, frankly, so all this is stock standard.

Yes, they are dressed up for an occasion but the actual clothes are just looking OTT and bling, which I get is their attempt to show that it's a wow special occasion . I'm dreading what be the D-fam ladies would be wearing if they are also in the function.

Amma is usually the only saving grace in terms of costuming on this show. Her sarees suit her character and tend to be tasteful, even the really simple ones. I know ITV costuming can be hit and miss often but it's particularly bad on this show.

The point isn't the dance but her demeanor. You can't go from sati savitri to siren without showing how it affects her being out of her comfort zone. I wouldn't expect it from other shows but in this one I do. And this is why when she let her insecurities show in her questions about him desiring her, it felt jarring. As a woman I got her point of view totally and felt bad for her being in this situation of self-doubt, but my post was more about the execution of the scene more than anything else. Also, ang laga de is an overused song in recent times for such moments because of the lyrics and feel, not just the original visuals. They should have used a different song because they are nowhere close to being able to create that feeling of passion and longing that should have been in this scene.

I don't particularly care much for how either of them looked. They were dressed up, fine but even if they weren't, it's not the clothes that make a scene sensuous. With Raghav, I think he was initially shocked and drawn in when he first saw her, for a second or two, but then it was replaced by his guilt of course , coupled by embarrassment and frustration that he had to see her in this situation that was a result of his prior behavior.

The dialogue about this being bachkana was written on two levels, one because it was meant to be an outburst for reasons we know and two, because of the fact that considering the intensity of their love, the thought that she felt he would expect or need her to change herself to act like someone else just to attract him was indeed a childish notion in the grand scheme of things. This should have been his wake up call as to how unsure his usually confident wife was feeling about him and their marriage that she felt she had to resort to all this.

I must say that for a show which had pretty much hinted at an upcoming passionate, intense love story right from the beginning, I have yet to see that passion. They are husband-wife, companions, etc. but don't seem like lovers till now. I don't think it will ever happen. For all the attractiveness of the leads that spark is missing. It would have been fine if this story hadn't promised that at the outset but since they have it just feels like they failed to deliver on that promise. And no, I'm not referring to physical contact or intimacy per se. It's even missing in their looks to another. I see warmth, camaraderie, mischief, anger, hurt, etc. but no passion.

Anyway, this is art and people have different

interpretations of it. I wanted to put mine here to see how other people felt as well.

Yup i do agree that the flawlessness in that dance could be a bit for some of us to digest but i would give that appreciation to Shivangi for being such a great dancer but of course we can't forget the fact that this is after all an itv show where out of a sudden the leads start dancing in a function with proper background dancers and matching steps.

I am glad at least you could see a glint od adoration in Raghav's eyes because i was really searching for it that bad. If it was there then thank goodness it wasn't all grumpy from his side.

Moreover i think the entire thing was to show Pallavi get out of her own comfort zone to do something for her partner, something he thought that she might like hence the sensuality wasn't a shocker for me cause she's always given her best.

The passion for me was upto the point before they got married when they had that entire power okay going on. Now it looks forced because to be honest i am not a big fan of the kind if wedding they had.

No no it's great that you pulled out your opinion gere cause what i am aware if us that this EDT is actually here to discuss the episode. Hence different interpretations of a scene can happen since we're two different individuals. All i had hoped was that the entire feeling thing that i talked off before was in a way that everyone can watch and notice instead of just a few.

I know right.

The expressive red balloon love 😂😂.

But even though Sai works so hard to make those scenes work and be expressive, it's literally clear how much he despises it.

They are such cuties you know. It is such sukoon saying them. Seeing them makes the stress and irritation we feel seeing the things happening on screen go away. Our Tazbu babies. ❤️❤️

Today after that entire humiliation thing, i was all set to bolt away from the show and just chat with you guys for updates but then they happened and well i am back.

I'm not even referring to Shivangi's or Sai's performance here. I just found the entire scene to be set up to portray sensuality instead of it actually being sensual. There was nothing sensual at all there that I could find even though I tried really hard. It felt put on and that does a disservice to the audience, especially when the choice of song creates that anticipation in viewers. Compare this with the kaise mujhe tum mil gayi scene, which felt organic and effortless... Zameen aasmaan ka farq.

Anyway, I don't look for their romance or passion anymore. Something got lost back in Hyderabad it seems.

Oooh the Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayi is a masterpiece sequence for me. No words but so much said. They don't do that anymore. That was the closest they reached to the Hyderabad track.

I am referring to Shivangi and Sai's performance cause they deserve every appreciation for making such a scene bearable for me to watch. If it wasn't for them i wouldn't have even tried to click on play let alone sit trying to grasp it.

Yupp the romance is lost somewhere because they've started butchering their character and nothing else. Or else Raghav and Pallavi complete each other in ways that no one of us can explain in words. Every darkness that has engulfed them saw light only because they walked into each others life on a rainy night under the moonlight.
