He probably is really off with the track and hence unable to connect leading to him looking like a deadpan onscreen.

With Tejo it's that she has strong screen presense maybe that's why it somewhat pushes him to act better.

Similar stuff is happening to that virat dude in that ghum circus.🤣🤣 He is so disconnected with the character that he appears constipated onscreen.

I've like watched two three clips of that show on YouTube any literally threw my phone out my bedroom window cauz it's toxic as hell but hats off to whoever watches that circus drama with diligence.😂😂

At the gurudwara she literally said she will put him in jail if he continues his stalking and gifting spree.

But later when she sees the way he is going all out and helping out with her functions with Jass and the way he was interacting with everyone + his promise to Jasso that he will get the ticket to Canada at any cost even defying his Baapu, she got convinced that maybe he is the best deal for Jasso.
