Marriage of convenience trope with Kajol resentful or not would be a breath of fresh air for the plot for this show.

I think either of these two things will happen...

Anurag will make some grand speech in front of all the families defending Kajol (predictable).

He will propose in front of all or his family will bring rishta for Kajol (again predictable).

I might be beyond that age, but I was enjoying the slow burn old school romance more. Not really into the whole forced marriage scenario or hero saving the day again and again.

I guess the Channel and Trp pressure has sent the original Kajol taking care of her family/Anjol story for a loop, and Ishita’s absence also resulted in a major dip in the Trps.

So I guess they will resort to the usual family drama, hero saving the day and forced marriage etc etc.

Even I am beyond this forced marriage track crap....it has been tried, tested for like ages in ITV.

But I also think tht the drop in TRPs resulted in Channel interfering in storyline. This is the major setback why we get regressive shit on tv all the time.

But one thing is a relief here: there is no revenge IF marriage happens and hero has already fallen for Kajol. Only issue he has is tht he cannot express it and he needs to tone down his damn mood swings.

And the only way to see AnJol together is by getting them married somehow, otherwise this crappy family drama of Mukherjees and Chatterjees is going to spoil the storyline more. Because in this show the family drama becomes too irritating to digest, which will result in ppl stop watching.

BUT.....if a marriage happens soo soon, where will the rest of the drama come from ???

If Kajol marries Anurag, there wont be any reason for Arjun to marry Noyna now.

I really hv no clue where they are heading with this plotline 🤔🤔

Now what will send his BP & his famous temper sky high is if Kajol is forbidden from working at NGO or coming into contact with her because the NGO links Kajol and the memory of his mother with him. Plus Kajol has already said she had a soul connection with his mother. Fridays epi of the way he protected her was end game for me.

Kajol is not soo weak as to turn down NGO offer. She better not be. This is her passion and joy, music. The printing press is work & to save Bishu's legacy.
