I am someone truly believes having great parents is destiny and I hate people who don't value their parents and mistreat them.

As someone like me who always wished to have caring parents but never did as my dad was nothing less of a criminal and a abusive aunt who mentally harassed me and beat me as a kid locking me up and starving me left me unable to trust people and with severe depression and abandonment issues for a lifetime. my mom I greatly respect her for the way she brought me up single handedly and faced alot of bullcrap.

But never gave up .

She didn't really have a supportive family to be true it was difficult plus in the village divorce is still looked down upon hence people made our lives hell thinking it was their birth right to harass us.

But today we are living a great life and I'd be thankful to God for giving me all that I wanted as all that I faced has made me a strong individual today.

I've a very simple theory about parents... You shouldn't be grateful to them just for giving birth to you... But you should value your parents if they're good parents. I hate it when people cant take care of a relationship like parents child. There are parents who literally don't care about their child's well being and treat them like robots. Then there are kids who treat their parents like shit, sometimes specially in old age, that's just so disgusting.

Especially as a woman i'm not the one to romanticise parental relationship because i've seen parents forcing their daughters to stay in abusive relationships. However its a miracle i'm born in such an amazing home.

As for you, your 'dad' lost so much and he doesn't even know. A child can love you in ways you can't even imagine. He missed out on that. And family isn't what we're born in, its what we choose. Don't worry, your future is there with so much love, light and warmth. And your sperm donor (I apologize if I hurt you, or step outta line) will miss all that bliss.
