Salman wasn't a big star? Mazaak kar rahe ho kya. He was always a huge superstar since his debut. He did a cameo in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Only superstars are requested for cameos in movies.

Salman has so many big hits of 90s like Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Judwa, Karan Arjun, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, Biwi No. 1, Jeet and 2000s like Partner, No entry, Wanted. He was a big superstar always.

Salman Khan spoiled his life for a few years because of Aishwarya Rai. But he was, is and will always be one of the biggest superstars of India.
