I don't think Dev's behaviour was ideal in that track but that was the whole point. Dev wasn't supposed to be ideal. It was supposed to be selfish and problematic. The writers also made Ritvik/Sona/Bijoy call him out in the track. I don't think a male lead/female lead has to be ideal & all sacrificing when he/she is in love and it's okay to mess up and make mistakes. Yes he should have backed off and let her move on but the whole point was that he was selfish, flawed and did not think through the decision and then messed it up (this ties up to Dev telling Sona post leap that he is so pathetic and selfish that he wanted Sonakshi to suffer & be in pain just like he was post their separation). I liked it as a fictional track (does not mean I approve of the behaviour) and I thought the writing/angst/acting was on point. And unlike most TV shows, they did not use Ritvik as a scapegoat to glorify Dev. In fact they made it clear Ritvik was the more mature person. It was also highlighted how friendly his father was (and he did not have a mother) so it was in stark contrast to the situation with Dev which sort of established that he was the ideal choice in every way but the heart wants what it wants. Just clarifying that I don't approve stalking/toxic behaviour but I really enjoyed the track as fiction. That's it 😆

If he was not working for money, he would hv spent quality time with his wife n daughter. He wouldn't hv taken up multiple project when he has newly born kid or his wife was fully pregnant. But he will definitely miss out beautiful time running behind money or his passion.

Many cannot afford to spend time with child or pregnant woman as they need meet their end. He has all the things n still not using most. Sometimes you need to prioritise certain things which will not come again in your life. Money will come n go. But playing with toddler n taking care altogether different feeling.

She just acknowledged the efforts put in by the fans. Didn't actually address the main issue...maybe she's not supposed to. As I thought maybe she has shot directly for the last episodes of the show and inbetween she won't there...they might show that Sonakshi went somewhere/kidnapped. Ho sakta hai.

PR stunt itna bada nahi ho sakta...even if it is one...then the production house might be involved too.

See I'm not his pa to give you the reasons for him working while he has a new born at home. But from what ever I saw on twitter and through his interviews, I understood that these two shows were supposed to begin in March but due to lockdown both of them got delayed and hence the shooting got overlapped. Even krpkab was supposed be a web show kind but Sony bought it on TV that's why they had to shoot for more days, and we can clearly see that they have no story to show, Kuch hai nahi unke pass dikhane ke liye that's why stretching the serendipity track. Even Sony doesn't have new shows in pipeline so they can't even end the show. But now with Erica's quitting news lets see what the channel and ph decides.

And even Nakuul is back to work with bade ache lagte hai, uska bhi beta hai ghar pe but he is working. Shaheer even said in his interview that post krpkab ends he won't take up anything and wants to be at home for few months. So he is just finishing his commitment that's it.

Nakul child is already 8 month old. Usually man spend most time when wife fully pregnant n new born child. As it's new experience for him.

And sha has not taken up just krp but he took multiple mvs too.

And I wanted your openion on offscreen segments with hina. Can we discuss in pm..I seriously wants to know. Since you are sha fan n look like you hv lot of information abt him.

Yes I’ve heard this for many years about Dev not being a perfect person and that’s what made his character interesting etc. No one asked for a perfect or ideal man. He was completely entitled to be a wuss and break up with Sonakshi.

My issue is with showing/ normalising obsessive, stalkerish behaviour as ‘intense, angsty love’.That is not love. That is dangerous behaviour that can make a woman’s life extremely scary and uncomfortable and cause her to live on the edge. First of all, it’s not even deep love if it took him a second to cast her out of his life. He made a choice between mother and girlfriend, fine. But then stalking and guilt tripping, creating problems for her fiance etc - no way can this behaviour be labelled ‘love’. It was more like he was jealously guarding a possession that no else should have, even though he didn’t want or couldn’t have it. Dog in the manger attitude.
